The piece of paper was flat in from of me, blank. I couldn't figure out what to draw, I couldn't think straight after seeing that cute girl at school again today. I think her name was, Day. I kinda new her from Instagram and we chatted from time to time. Then it came to me, I should draw her!
It may seem awkward, but I'm in the Minecraft fandom and I heard she was too. Wow, a girl so perfect like her plays Minecraft?
I stayed up for hours, I had to look at her profile for her InGameName. I think it was something like 8charli8, pretty cute.
I finally got it right, I couldn't wait to see her the next day! We both have A-lunch together. She sits in the bottom section of the lunch tables with her friend Sarah, I know her from Instagram too! I think it's something like @CrafterSarah. I wondered what it would take for me to be able to be invited into the group.
I couldn't sleep, all the negative thoughts about my drawing started rushing through my head like nightmares. I may sound stupid, but this girl was all I could think of. From her beautiful smile to her glowing blue eyes. I would ask her out if I had the courage.
Morning finally came and it was picture day. I'm not a big fan of picture day to be honest. I heard the bus from my room and dashed downstairs and out the door. There I met my best friend Jason, I got him into the Minecraft community to, I thought @JasonCraftsMc would be a good name for him.
After 40 minutes on the horrid bus, we arrived at school. It was Friday so there was pretty much mayhem everywhere.
I daydreamed of Day through English and History, then it was time. On my way to lunch I felt a little dizzy but soon regained my balance. I looked down the row and saw Day smiling talking to her friends. I slowly approached, right then, Day turned around and was staring right at me. I started to back up, but then the walls came to meet me. Wait, it was Sarah, I helped her pick her instrument up while everyone was staring at me in front of the whole cafeteria. When people finally forgot about me, I approached Day for the second time. Day turned around and gave me a big smile. She invited me to sit with her, I told her I had something for her as I reached into my back-pack. But wait, I couldn't find it.
There was a big silence and I decided to switch topics. The rest if lunch was quiet, but I managed to ask her if she wanted to come to watch Frozen at the movie theater. She said sure, that was a total surprise to me . She asked to bring Sarah and her friend Chin along. I said sure, we needed more helpers for the Frozen Sing-A-Long.
Science went by the fastest, I couldn't wait to watch the movie with her after school. It was awkwardly quiet on the bus, I had no clue my till I turned and saw Jason staring at me. He had a smirk like he knew what was going on, awkward.
5:00 came and Sarah was in charge of pickup. I expected Sarah to be ringing my doorbell, but it wasn't, it was Day.
She knocked on my door and I opened up trying to look cool, didn't really work. I was so shocked at how beautiful she looked! I invite her in while I went to grab my shoes. When I was ready, I reached for the door handle but instead I met Day's hand. My eyes locked onto hers and my heart was thumping. I wanted to let her know how I felt, I reached my arms out and she reached back. Her hug was so warm and soft, like an angel.
We heard the car horn beep and we stepped outside. I put my hands in my pocket and felt a piece of paper. No way...it was my sketched drawing for Day!
I ran out to her while she was walking down the steps, I told her I had something special for her. I gave her the drawing and she covered her mouth and whispered, "It's perfect!" I had a big smile on my face and I was just happy she was happy. Suddenly I felt a warm kiss on the side of my cheek, I was so shocked, she smiled at me and walked to the car.
Watching Frozen, we sat together holding hands and eating as much popcorn as we desired. This day was truly a dream come true. This is about the girl who saved me from sadness and discomfort, Day.
Scene |2| Afterwards
Me and Day eventually became boyfriend and girlfriend of course. She was beautiful and who wouldn't want her? This is the time of the day after school where me and Day walk cross the street to the park. Of course, Sarah comes along with her boyfriend too, his name was Andrew.
As always, we sat on the swings and talked about all our boring classes in school, but, there was a problem. Sarah wasn't showing up. She never missed out on our after school meets, never. After 15 minutes, me and Day went to go investigate. It was getting dark, very dark. It's winter time here so the sun sets way earlier in the afternoon, kinda messes up my schedule.
We went into the school and saw Sarah running across the hall, creepy. But guess what was even creepier, the creeper chasing her. Day let out a scream and the creeper turned its head in alarm and came towards us. It was past 4:00 so all the doors locked in on us. We were trapped, with the monster with us.
Me and Day ran into a door, "hey it's my math class!" Day whispered. We kinda giggled then remembered there was a large seven foot monster outside the door. We hear whimpering from the corner and we went over an turned the lights on, it was Andrew! "Is...is Sarah okay?" He whimpered. "Yeah, for now at least!" Day said jokingly, Andrew shivered."Well, what now?" I said to them and they both looked at me. "Let's try the door," Andrew said. As we went closer and closer to the door, I became dizzy as if something was telling me to stop. I didn't listen. We got closer and closer until Andrew decided to open up the door unaware of the monster outside. "Andrew wait!" Day yelled. We heard a sizzling noise from the other side of the door. "Get down!" I screamed as we all jumped away from the door. "Ssssss BOOM!" The door came flying off in peices. "Oh my gosh!" Andrew screamed. We all ran out the door as we heard moaning everywhere. "Are those...what I think they are?" Day asked. "I believe so..." I replied. "Zombies oh god RUN!" Andrew screamed. They are started stumbling to us. "Way to go dude!" Day screamed at him. Andrew started to blush and slowly walk behind us. Me and Day decided to stay and fight, Andrew went to find Sarah, we had no weapons though."Now what!?" Day screamed. I looked over and saw a...it was a diamond sword... I couldn't believe it! What's a diamond sword doing in a class hallway? I picked up and ran over to the mobs. "SLASH!" All of them toppled over. I turned back to Day smiling but then I heard her scream and I looked behind me and heard the, "Sssss!" Then everything went black.
I woke up in what seemed to be a crater in the ground, the creeper blew me down below the ground pretty far! I somehow couldn't get out, I tried to call for help but nobody was there. I tried climbing out multiple times but I kept cutting my hands on the thick metal that was blown down with me. After 10minutes I finally managed to crawl my way out of the hole, I picked up my diamond sword that was blasted across the room. I heard what sounded like growling and I turned around, there stood a big black monster staring into my eyes, my vision was becoming weary and I tried to swing at the monster but it somehow teleported. I should have known. Enderman. There was something transferring all the minecraft mobs into reality. I believe someone generated the LifePortal. I heard the growling again and I turned around, I felt a gap between my hand and realized the Enderman had stolen my sword!
I looked around noticing the enderman was gone. Gone along with my sword. I was left with only my hand for combat. I ran down the halls looking for Day, zombies moaned slowly moving behind me as the giant spiders leaped to attack. I could easily get away with my speed, until I got tired. I ran into the library and closed the doors forgetting that there were just about zombies in every room! I turned and saw a creeper getting ready to explode. "Ssssss!" Then I closed my eyes gently waiting for the impact, but as it seemed, it went away. I opened 'y eyes and saw Sarah! She had a golden sword and was slicing up the mobs, I told her we needed to find Day, but she said she was looking for Andrew (of course) so we parted our own ways, I said thanks for the help and we both left off. I ended up in the gym running into Andrew. "They took her!" He wa screaming as he ran away. "Who!?" I asked. "They...they took Day" he said collapsing on the floor for air. Sarah came running in with a mob of zombies behind her. "Run!" She screamed as we all ran outside. All the houses, all the streets, they were on fire!
Scene |3| The End?
We noticed big grey moving clouds in the sky. The only problem was instead of shooting out water, the clouds were shooting out fire! We heard a cry from above and turned to see what it was, those weren't clouds. Get were Ghasts. "Take shelter!" Andrew yelled. "I need Day! And she is still in the school, so I'm going back!" I told them. The school was almost completely lit on fire. I was going inside even if there was no way out. If I die, I'm dying with Day safe. The smoke was thick around me, I could hear moans from all around. I stopped, through the burning flames I could here a faint whimper. "Day!" I screamed. She was trapped in the school office! I noticed the blockage, it was a zombie pigman. I noticed the shiny enchanted gold sword in his hands and he swung at me. Leaving force for Day to open the door, she pushed the door open and I saw the iron axe swing in her grasps. The zombie pigman was gone for good. Day stared at me and broke a smile, I couldn't see much but I could tell by the way she was. "Let's get the heck outa here!" Day taunted as she wrapped her arms around me. I held her hand through the thick black smoke as we made it to the door. I looked up and saw a burning piece of the ceiling fly off. "Day watch out!" I lightly pushed her away from me as the lights went out and everything was blurred.
I woke up in a small room, it was all made out of end stone, I had no clue where I was. I got out and looked up, nothing but black. So clouds, no sun. I then knew exactly where I was, I had made it to the END.
I had never really explored the End before, so it was all knew to me. I looked beside me, a small chest. I opened it up and saw an iron chest plate, a diamond sword, 4 obsidian and a diamond! I was lucky to get such good loot in a place like this. I turned and saw enderman, everywhere. I needed to find my way back, I saw an end portal across the map. I needed to get over there. I put my armor on and ran for it. Then I saw it, the enderdragon. He dived in towards me, but I dove to the side and dodges him. I ran as fast as I could towards the portal, then I felt my feet life slightly off the ground by the corrupted fireball shot by the enderdragon. Soon I was flying through the air screaming. I looked down and realized if I kept my fall straight, I could land into the portal. I kept my line straight and dove for it but got blasted by another shot directly in the stomach, I landed on the ground with. Small groan. I couldn't feel my legs. I realized I had somehow ha a backpack on my back, I opened it up right as the enderdragon dove in for me, I reached in and grabbed the first thing I could throwing it at the dragon knowing there was nothing else I could do. I felt a force push me up and release me. I opened my eyes and looked at my hand, enderpearls! I looked down and realized I was riding the dragon, I grabbed my sword out of my backpack and stabbed it into the Enderdragons thick skull, he burst into XP and I was free falling from hundreds of feet above the sky, I slowly fell aiming my last enderpearl at the portal, I felt relaxed as the XP in the air slowly drifted towards me giving me a tingling feeling. I was about 30 feet from the ground when I threw the enderpearl, then everything went black again.
I woke up back at the school, I needed to find Day. I ran outside and saw that the ghasts were still shooting everything in its path. i turned and saw the spiders and skeletons reach out and try to kill me. I then got an idea that might change the world. I aimed my diamond sword and sliced the skeleton in half giving me 3 arrows. I turned and the spider jumped on my reaching its fangs out to attack. I let out a scream but soon gained enough of my balance to tumble on top of him and plunge my sword into its back. I have never done anything so disgusting in my life. I looked at the dead corpse and saw 3 string, so i went and collected it looking for a tree. By then everyone could probably guess what i needed to craft. I went over and rapidly threw my fist at the tree. Somehow, i couldn't feel anything. I collected 2 wood and turned them into planks. I used 4 of the planks to make the crafting table and turned the rest into sticks. I successfully crafted my bow with 3 arrows. Then for the final touch i ran back into the burning ruins of the school that had already stopped burning and looked for the library. I ran inside and placed my crafting table. I threw my fist at the rows of bookshelves giving me plenty of books. I went to the crafting table and dropped my four obsidian, my diamond, and a couple books creating an...Enchantment Table!
I slowly dropped my bow into the enchant table and saw all the XP flying around inside my body making me feel warm. I slowly pressed the 30XP button and all the XP i had collected burst right out of my body into the enchant table. I had recieved a Power IV Fire II Infinity II! All i needed to survive was the metal on my chest and the bow in my hand.
The search for Day continued, i ran out of the school slightly tilting my bow up shooting down the ghasts. They shrieked as a bow pierced into its silvery white body. I continued bowing down all the mobs i came across, i eventually came to a stop, "Day?" I whispered. There in front of my stood Day, she turned and her face was green, and she was infected.
I let out a horrid scream as the once loved creature crawled towards me. "No. No, please..." I whimpered through a tear. I pulled out my sword and held it up. I was too weak, I could never, I dropped the sword and landed on the ground. Then it hit me! I could go back into the nether, get blaze rods, and make a brewing stand with nether wart! I could make the health potion that could just save Day.
I turned and waved goodbye to the burning ruins of my town and everything went black as I stepped into the platform of the portal near the base of the school. I spawned and rushed over to the nearest blaze I could. Fireballs shot at me in the distance as I dove for cover. Would this be the end of Stormy and Day? I pulled out my bow and pulled back the smooth feathers of the arrow and released. Two blaze rods exploded out of the blaze at the direct hit. "Interesting!" I thought to myself making my way over the flooded lava flow. I finally came across 5 nether wart and quickly grabbed it and ran back to the portal, I started feeling weaker and weaker, I became tired quickly, was the heat getting to me? I launched out at the portal with not a breathe to waste as everything went black. I spawned back at the base of the school coughing and wheezing because of the fumes, I ran back into the library remains and used the rest of my cobble to make the brewing stand. I quickly grabbed my glass bottle that I had in my backpack from the sand I had picked up. I put the nether wart inside and waited for it, it could take minutes, hours. I had to stay strong. Somehow in this world, the only potions you could create are health, so all you need is nether wart and it's made. I looked back outside and saw Day still crawling around, it broke my heart seeing what I did. I felt more tears run down my cheek, I think it was time for her to come back. I ran up to he corpse and launched the potion releasing the grasp of my fingers from the bottle. A loud shatter filled the air as a glow of light peaked out of the splattered potion, I took a look at Day and gasped, her skin was returning to normal, all the scars faded, all her clothes looked new! It was as if she had...respawned.
Scene |4| Forgotten
"Day!" I shrieked running up to her and hugging her. I saw she was tense as I looked into her eyes. "Day... Are you ok?" I asked and she just stared at me. She finally spoke word I will never forget, "Who are you?" She questioned looking at me. I stood there shocked. Would she ever remember the adventures we had together? Is this the end of the line?
She gazed up at me with wonderment, "can I help you?" She stumbled out. I was speechless. What could I say... Was I still breathing? I backed up a little when Day tensed. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" Day screamed. It made me jump back farther. I managed to say "I- I'm sorry I let this happen Day..." She stared at me with complete silence. I closed by eyes as a tear rolled down my cheek, I fell to my knees and looked up at Day she seemed shocked too. I don't think she even remembers what's happening. I must keep her safe.
"Day..." I manage to spudder. "Uhm...yes?" She snapped back. "It's me, it's Stormy, your boyfriend." I said kind of blushed on the cheek. "Yeah. I can't say I remember you..." She said with her head down. Then I knew what I could do, When she kissed me on the cheek for the first time, I knew I was in love with her. Maybe this is similar. I slowly approached her and she must have known what I was going to do so she pulled out the gold sword I had let her borrow and sliced at my stomach. "GO AWAY!" She screamed. Then realizing what she had done, she let out a cry. I felt shocked, I didn't feel pain...is that what it's like to die? Had I failed my mission to keep Day safe? Suddenly the walls came in on my and everything went blurred as the sound slowly drifted from my ear. I could still see Day in my blurred vision. Then two more people. They came up to her "Noo!" I screamed as I thought she was being captured. Then I felt a sharp click as a glass bottle broke onto me. My vision cleared up to see Andrew and Sarah, Sarah was just hugging Day. "Need a hand?" Andrew said smiling at me. "Thanks bro." I replied recovering my balance. "What's wrong with Day?" I hear Sarah snap. I explained to her what happened as Day was just standing there confused. "I'm really sorry Stormy, you seem like a nice guy..." She said with a smile on her face. I slowly approached her to see if the kiss would break the spell. This time she didn't back up, she stood looking into my eyes. I pulled back her hair and lightly kissed her cheek. She gasped and fell to the floor. She looked around for Minute then said, "Stormy, Sarah, Andrew? Did we make it out if the school?"
NOW
So it went on, the portals never closed and population was wiped from Earth. I still couldn't find my parents along with Day, Sarah and Andrew. Its just been us so far. People have come and go. The hope for life is now at minimum, hope is gone for survival. Our group took shelter in the End. Day, Sarah, Andrew and I, these are the only people i know for a fact are alive. Is this a dream? It' not. Its been way too long for that miracle. As Sarah and Day sat by the broken edge of the End, Andrew and I worked on the repairs. Every few days we returned to Earth to get supplies and gather more people, they never make it. Our next supply run is in a few days. Though dangerous, its good to go back and get fresh air. The End has artificial air that just doesn't give you the sensation of real fresh air from Earth. The End Dragon was destroyed a while ago. Its when I first discovered the End. Enderman are pretty rare but valuable. Ive only caught about 3 during my time in the End. I cant use Ticks, Ticks is the name of my bow (What? It gets lonely sometimes). I've either had to use Andrew as bait to catch the Enderman or just sneak up quietly. Our supplies right now are minimal. Just a few pieces of meat and a pocket full of XP for repairs. But enough about me. This is about survival. Here in the End there is no time. Our bodies are pretty much able to sleep for as long as needed for full energy. We have our house built of wood and cobble built by Sarah and Day. Sarah and Day have stayed behind to build while me and Andrew ran the supply runs. It works out pretty well.
