Demi is a very easy thing to explain, as it is a simple one way transgender thing. Demi is when you identify and one gender, but not completely. Demi boy is when you identity as mainly male and demi girl is when you identify as a female, but not completely. It could mean they don't call themselves the opposite gender because of their body or for religious reasons.
