Chapter Three / Part One
GreyI'd say many people don't know me. Even more on my own team. But as far as I know, I'm the mastermind behind the team's decisions.
This was considered due to the amount of times our leader had disappeared in thin air. Plus, he wasn't too good with decisions, more like an entertainment for the team to rely on, I'd say.
You might be thinking: "How rude it is to speak like that?" Or the usual "Don't you think you're being too harsh?". But it's not about being harsh or not, it's the truth in those comments.
For example, Spark doesn't leave plans to assemble while gone, or orders to follow. He just disappears and comes back whenever he wants to. We think it's for good reasons, maybe there's too much pressure on the poor kid.
"Any news on our Leader?" Jennie said, hugging the incubator that was assigned to her.
"I'm afraid not" Two trainers came in, cleaning their sweat with their arms, sighing.
"And what happened to you?" Jennie frowned.
"We found a threat to all trainers around the forest, and we stopped it"
"Which is?" I said, crossing my arms.
Both trainers looked at eachother, then at us.
"So?" Jennie looked at the trainers.
"It was... A Weedle" The trainers responded, sighing.
Jennie facepalmed, as I groaned at the trainers. From all possible and dangerous Pokémon, they classified a Weedle as a threat.
The rest of the team looked at eachother, closing their mouths to just start on the research again. They were all so focused on the competition they had with Mystic, that a single second without researching the state of the eggs could be alarming.
"What are we going to do without our Leader?" One of the members of the staff asked.
Everyone looked at me, thinking I'd have an answer; A plan. Truth is that I was even more clueless than them.
"Uh, I'm not sure, really-" I said, people gasping at my small announcement.
"We're doomed" One of the analytics worker said, holding their head in horror.
"Everyone, calm down" A voice from behind me said, closing the door.
Everyone just blinked, whispering about the arrival of the Valor leader into the headquarters.
"You all may be wondering what the leader of a different team is doing here" She began.
"But it's this easy: Ladies and gentlemen, meet your team leader for the next days. Or until Spark comes back to his team" She fixed her hair, putting her hand on her right hip, smiling.
In shock, someone dropped their coffee cup on the floor, staining a few trainers.
"You idiot! Look at my skirt!" A trainer said, smacking the person in the head, beginning a small fight.
"This is going to be fun, indeed" Candela said, glaring at the fight.
