A/N-I hate myself.

My blood pumped fast as my feet picked up speed down the hall. I was sweating, but not from the running. Mostly from the fear.

The footsteps behind me increased in speed and became louder, evidently showing the creatures distance behind me.

"Harley!" I heard Isaac's voice scream, but I couldn't find it in me to answer. I was running so fast I could barely breathe.

"Harley! Where are you!?" I heard Isaac's voice scream. I made a left, following his voice. The footsteps behind me increased in speed. I began to push harder, even though I felt like I was about to pass out.

If you ever go down, go down fighting.

Before I could make the right turn towards Isaac's screaming voice, I was tackled to the ground.

~That morning~

"All my friends, they're different people. Anxious like the ocean in a storm," Sleeping With a Friend by Neon Trees was blasting as I took a hot shower, getting ready for my trip. I sang along to the song as I turned off the water, stepping out of the shower.

I wrapped a towel around me and took out my blow dryer, dancing around the bathroom.

"Oooh, oooh. You got me in the mood, mood," I sang along as I began to dry my hair. By the time my hair was decently damp, the song changed and I began to get dress. I slipped on my black leggings and Isaac's sweatshirt over my bra and panties. I grabbed my phone and docking station and walked down the hall to my room, singing along.

Isaac was picking me up at 12, which was in an hour. I had everything ready so I left my phone to charge on the docking station and play some music while I left my hair down to air dry the rest. There was a school bus to take, but it left at 9 and Isaac wanted to drive down. And apparently he's my babysitter for the weekend since Scott said I had to go with him.

I plopped down on my bed and grabbed Wuthering Heights off my bed side table. My copy was absolutely destroyed. Rips everywhere and pages threatening to fall out.

"Maybe I should read a different one right now," I muttered to myself, getting up and going to the ceiling to floor bookcases lined up against my wall. My room wasn't big, so these book cases took up a lot of room. But I loved reading, so it was totally worth it. There was a rolling ladder that I used to get the books that were really high.

"I don't want to read any classics," I said to myself, skipping over the first book case that was for classics only. Taking out Eleanor and Park from my second book case, I jumped back on my bed.

Re-reading books are always fun.

"Harley?" I heard Isaac say as he walked into my room, not knocking.

"People knock on doors for a reason, Isaac. I could've been naked," I scolded him, closing my book and getting up.

"Maybe that's why I didn't knock," he said with a wink and I could feel my cheeks heat up.

"Perv," I muttered, putting my book away.

"Where are your bags? I'll bring them to the car," Isaac said, looking around my room.

"I brought my bag downstairs before. I just need to grab my phone," I said, slipping my phone and headphones into my sweatshirt pocket. Isaac looked at me and smiled.

"You look good in my clothes, babe," he said with a wink. I rolled my eyes, but that simple comment made my insides erupt with butterflies as I walked away.
