After all the question, worries and fears, Tom had finally managed to apparate Ron and Harry to the apartment. They stood outside fearing what was behind the door.
"Okay so eeeer, keep in mind that she won't remember you guys, and she may be a little... eeerr, bigger." Warned Tom.
"And she won't remember that you guys had-"
"That wasn't my choice Ron." Snapped Tom as he cautiously opened the door.
"Your back!" Purple exclaimed with a wide smile on her face, still caught in a dream land. Her eyes wandered the room in a daze until they met Harry and Ron.
"Oh company yay!!!!" She said while getting up and hugging Harry and Ron.
"What did I tell you about getting up?" Said Tom taking a hold of her.
"Sorry." Purple said in a dramatically apologetic. Purple went back to the bed.
After introducing Purple to Harry and Ron, Tom discovered that Purple had developed a special liking towards Harry which made Tom very jealous.
"I'm sorry, this isn't an easy decision but you NEED to make it," gently spoke Harry. It was now or never and it was all or nothing. Tom sat staring at his feet, there was no solution that resolved in victory.
"Tom, just do what you think is best," Harry begged
"If we let him do what was best he'd probably kill it!" Tom didn't pay attention to Rons remarks, he was used to them by now, and he couldn't say he disagreed with Rons judgment of him.
"Errrrr..." Silence. "Emm, we can't kill the baby, but the baby needs a mother." Tom looked at the crazy purple. "A real mother. We have to get her memory back." Tom burst out. Harry had told him to do what he had thought was right, right now everything was blurred by how much he missed her. The way she would smile at him when he held her hand, as if nothing else in the world mattered. The was she would laugh when he looked into her eyes, pure as the sky. The way her lips felt like a soft piece of heaven. He spent every night dreaming of her, but every dream turned from a spectacular pretense of reality, to a cold and bitter horror. He feared the horror was as real as reality. He feared the horror didn't just lay in his nightmares, but in himself. Purple had a way of suspending him from his overbearing darkness. But even her light was sometimes not enough to overshine it.
Tom remembered the note, and how Purple had begged him never to give her back her memory. But he had no other choice, she was pregnant and for no one elses fault but his own. He was sickened by himself, he was absolutely bewildered by whom he had become. Or whom he always was.
"Okay, so.. it's... settled" Said Harry, taking slow breaths in between each word. His voice as soft as the cold breeze that filled the room and lay in the goose bumps of his pale skin.
Ron, Harry, and Tom exchanged looks. "Well, who's gonna do it?" Asked Ron.
"Tom?" Replied Harry. Tom shook his head. "Harry I think you should do it." Tom pleaded hopefully.
Harry hesitated. "Eeeer, now?" Question Harry, hoping Tom would say much latter. Tom gave him a fierce look of trust. "Now."
