The Alpha's Mate *ON HOLD*

Katherine's POV-

I couldn't stop running. I knew better then to stop I ran from my old pack New Moon Elite I couldn't handle things I overheard my parents talking and saying that I was going to be marrying the alpha from Blood Moon she didn't want to get married. Not yet she was only 16 she didn't want a mate either and she knew Alpha Drake the guy she was marrying was not her mate.

I had been running for 3 hours since I left my dad's pack I can't accept being married to a complete stranger who is 12 years older then me I just can't, when I knew my pure white wolf couldn't handle it anymore I stopped running and I laid next to a beautiful lake. I stayed there for a while just watching the scenery I was debating whether or not to shift back and take a little swim I was about to but I stopped when I heard growling and snarling behind me, I went straight into defense position.

There were 4 of them, one I could tell held power but not enough power to be an alpha, maybe a beta? They're was a brown one a black with white streaks, the one with orange fur shifted back pulling on basketball shorts he was definitely a beta I can feel the power radiate off of him.

"Shift back!" He said.
So I did, when I shifted back behind a tree I said that I needed clothes because I had left everything behind. He looked like he was mind linking one of them and the black one with white streaks ran off. I stared at him in silence while half of my body was being covered by a tree his form was intimidating I couldn't help but to let my eyes travel down to his chest he had a nice 8 back and very bulky muscles. He growled and I looked up and then he spoke up.

"Your crossing territory."

"I know I'm sorry I'll leave as quick as I can.." I said whimpering fearing f what he would do.

"We'll just see what the alpha wants to do with you, it's a shame actually a very beautiful girl like you running off as a rogue alone very rare as well. You better hope the alpha doesn't kill you."

Behind his green eyes I can just see that he wanted me dead. I saw the orange wolf approaching with a purple dress the beta which I haven't learned his name yet threw it to me and told me to change into it because he was taking me to the Alpha. While I was behind the tree slipping on the purple dress I couldn't help but let a few tears drop because I knew what was coming, I was going to die so I closed my eyes for a minute mentally praying my parents and family would be okay. Then I stepped out from behind and I said the words that I might regret.

"I'm ready."
I saw a smirk cross his face and the 3 wolves stayed behind me while the beta was in front. I didn't want to have a bad start with him so I asked what his name was. For a minute he was very quiet like he was ignoring me.

"Nikolas" and he turned around and took a glance at me.
"My name is Kath-" he didn't give me time until he said
"I don't care what your name is my alpha will kill you so don't waste your breath rogue."
I felt like ripping his head off his neck how could he treat me with so much disrespect I was basically an alphas daughter! But I stayed quiet and let
My mind drift to my family and the pack.

When I looked up I saw that we were approaching a very big house I'm guessing the pack house it was at least a four story. When he opened the door I smelled a faint smell that made my mouth drool it was like a mix of dirt and mint combined but I loved it but I didn't put much thought. While we walked up the stairs the smell was getting stronger and stronger to the point where my knees felt like jelly and when I turned around the wolves were gone but Nikolas was still in front of me walking like nothing even matters, the smell got so strong I couldn't even stop myself but blurt out

"Do you smell that?"
"Smell what."
I was about to say it but Nikolas knocked on the door that I'm guessing was the Alpha's and I felt my heart beat pick up and is was more curious as to why this was happening. When he finally opened the door my wolf was howling in pleasure and before I could even comprehend what was happening the Alpha stood up when I saw him he was the most attractive man I've ever laid eyes on I just couldn't and that's when he growled and said the word that I never wanted to happen.

"Mate"

And this is my first time writing a full story so it will take time and my dialogue idk if I'm doing it right but ya'know very inexperienced but thank you for reading and I'll try to make it as long as possibly thanks for the support!
