Chapter 2~We Meet Again Jack

Jack's POV
I woke up the next morning. It was Saturday. I went downstairs to go get breakfast when I saw my dad and Ellie's mom were talking to each other. "Oh good morning Blackjack" said my dad happily. "Hey dad. Hey Mrs. O'Brien!" I said to them both. "Hi Jack wow look how big you've gotten I haven't seen you in what maybe 7,8 years?" She questioned. "Might of been 8"I said.  "Oh my then you grew to one handsome man Mr Malloy" she commented to me. Me and Ellie have been best friends since we meet in Kindergarten. Her mom and my dad met after the whole body swapping incident that happened between us. I still gives me the chills think about. My thoughts were interrupted by my phone was buzzing . I reached in my pants pocket and grabbed my phone and read who it was. Crap. It was Tori. I forgot we exchanged numbers before we left. I decided to answer it. Ok Jack be cool. "H-Hello?" I answered her. Wow jack way to keep cool. Not. "Hey Jack how are you" she responded back. I could feel her smile through the phone. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to go on a da-I mean hang out together."  I said quickly. Phew. That was too close. "So like a date?" She asked me. It was my choice did I want to make it a date? I want our date to be perfect and I wanna ask her at the right time. "Uh nope just to hang out a bit, get to know each other" i responded back. " Sure that sounds great. Can you pick me up after practice?" She asked me sweetly. "Sure no problem" I said to her. Boy this should be interesting
