It's been two weeks in the rehab home and things were taking good turns. I think it's safe to call the BTS members my friends now... It made me excited to call them my friends, since I never had long-lasting friends. The days in rehab went by slowly as usual, but the events in them were pretty interesting.
"Ugh, guys, I'm bored!" Jungkook whined. He whined six out of seven days a week because he didn't have wifi. "Let's play a game!"
We all were used to passing time with little truth or dare games and such, but recently our favorite game was "of course." Basically, the eight of us would be divided equally into two groups. Then one member from one group would try to trigger their one opponent in the other group by saying something rude or triggering. The opponent would have to respond with "of course" every "attack." If they failed, that round would be lost.
We split into groups quickly. I was with Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hoseok, while the other team consisted of Jin, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook.
Yoongi started off with Jin.
"So, uhh... Yoongi. I would use your brain if mine failed to work. You know, because yours was never used before," Jin started off, laughing at his own trigger. In my opinion, Jin just was not mean enough for this game.
"Of course," Yoongi said easily, crossing his arms. "But Jin, these days you haven't been following your usual skincare routine. Your pores are so big I can see them from here," Yoongi smirked.
Jin looked shocked. He sputtered, then ran off to the restroom to probably find a mirror. Yoongi high-fived me as he sat back down. One point for us!
The next to rounds were tense, but it ended with two consecutive wins from the other team. Although Namjoon kept telling Jimin he had no jams, Jimin didn't seem to care and answered easily with "of course." When Jimin insulted Namjoon's sense of style, however, the leader gasped and was speechless, making our team lose that round. Hoseok lost a round to Taehyung, who really knows how to irk a person.
So, this was the round that would tie things up, if I won that is... If I lost, the opposite team would win. AND I COULD NEVER LET THAT HAPPEN! I was up next against Jungkook, unfortunately for my team. He's seriously good at this game.
But then again, so was I.
"Hey, Kook, do you call yourself a man? Your muscles are non-existent!" I said, pointing at Jungkook's arms.
"Of course!" Jungkook replied. "But speaking about non-existent, where's your name? Is it not there, like your brain?"
"Well, of course," I said, not letting minor insults get to me. "But just so you know, my name's Ivy-Rose," I said, smirking. The BTS members all gawked at me. I had made it seem like I was never going to reveal my name. But I had planned to tell BTS my name after I trusted them. They're my friends now, so I could trust them... right?
"But wait. Jungkook is it just me, or your vocals getting worse?" I asked. "Is puberty finally hitting you?"
Jungkook's face turned a bit red. "O-of course." He struggled to say it.
"Ivy-Rose, huh? Rose is such a softy name. I thought you were as tough as ivy but turns out you're just a small, girly rose," Jungkook said, crossing his arms. Strangely, it didn't seem like he was trying to burn me. That burn was too weak! I knew what he was capable of!
"Of course," I easily said. "Aw Kook, didn't you say once in an interview your thighs and lips are the best parts of your body? It's unfortunate that your lips are the size of your eyes," I said. I'm so competitive that I started to research the things that the BTS members were confident in themselves so I could easily win "of course" games. "Oh, and your thighs look like chicken wings."
At that, Jungkook yelled, "I GIVE UP! I CAN'T LISTEN TO HER INSULT ME AGAIN!"
"Aw, but I wasn't even going that hard," I whined. "Thought you could do better. Anyways, it's a tie!" I high-fived my team members.
"Ivy-Rose, huh?" Namjoon said, nodding. "It actually fits you."
-----
"You know, it's kinda strange how the name Ivy-Rose can fit you," Jimin told me, as he walked over and sat next to me, taking a break from his dance practice.
"Why? Because I'm not pretty enough or sweet enough to be a rose?" I asked, jokingly.
"No... no, you're pretty enough," Jimin admitted. What... "And in a way, Ivy-Rose, you're sweet."
I laughed. "Ew, I don't do sweet."
"Yet, you are..." Jimin said, smiling. "Sweet like a rose. And that's what I'll call you: Rose."
