Jimin was waiting for me, laying on my bed.
"Did he yell at you?" he asked, sitting up.
"Raze doesn't yell. He just slowly scares you with his voice," I said, sighing.
"Oh, so exactly like you!" Jimin said, smiling. He was trying to make me feel better.
I smiled. "I learned from him, I guess," I said, sitting down next to Jimin.
"You're better than him though," Jimin said, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. He was getting touchy these days, but I didn't mind. "You have compassion, kindness, and you're caring. I don't know if you've always had these traits; they could've been hidden deep inside you, or you could've just acquired them suddenly. But, that doesn't matter. I... like -- love you."
Okay, what now? Did I just hear the L word? Love? What was love? I'd never been loved. I'd never loved. Now... this... this celebrity was claiming he loved me. Was love the same thing as like? Was it something everyone just said?
My thoughts were interrupted when Jimin took my cheek in his hand and turned my head towards his. Now, what was he doing?
My question was answered shortly when I felt my lips align with Jimin's. A kiss! Woah. I've read enough books to know this was what people did when they loved each other. Though I might not understand what love exactly was yet, I could play along with it. I mean... these feelings I have whenever I'm with Jimin weren't there for nothing...
Chim secured my face with both of his hands while still pressing his soft lips on mine. The feeling felt so new but so... good? I can't explain it. I awkwardly just set my hands by my side, not knowing what to do. Finally, Jimin pulled away so we could breathe.
He grinned that breath-taking grin. "First kiss?" he asked, grabbing my hands.
"Obvious, huh?"
Jimin smiled. "No, not at all." He brought me in to kiss me again. This time, guiding my hands to fall onto his shoulders. Ohh... that's where you put your hands... I tilted my head a bit to the right to be more comfortable. I felt Jimin's lips curl up into a smile as he broke the kiss again to hug me.
"I'd love to continue, but... we've got some people spying on us," Jimin whispered. "Hey, we'll talk later."
I just nodded, totally shocked by this whole moment.
From what I learned from reading, love was when two people cared for each other. When two people helped each other to become better people... Was this love?
First POV CHANGE! Jimin's POV
As I had been kissing Ivy-Rose, I heard some noises outside the room. I knew Bangtan had been watching that whole thing...
I walked out of the room, feeling better. I'd fallen for the sweet, beautiful girl, who disguised herself as tough and distant. Ivy-Rose was not affectionate, but she didn't reject affection either. I love every aspect of her. I know it's hard for her to love; I've heard stories of her past. And I know it'll take her a while to understand what love is. But I'm fine with it.
The Bangtan members all crowded around me as soon as I stepped out of the room.
"You love her?!" Jin practically screamed.
"Why? How?" Yoongi asked.
"When the hell did that happen?" Namjoon asked.
I sighed. It'll take a long time to explain... And which it did. It took about thirty minutes to explain how I had started to like Ivy-Rose, then realizing she probably likes me, then even to loving Ivy-Rose.
"She's dangerous, man," Yoongi whispered. "She still carries around that belt full of daggers."
"She still scares the hell out of us," Namjoon muttered.
"After all this time of hanging out with her, this is what you have to say?" I asked. "She thinks you guys are her good friends!"
"Yeah, that's what we want her to think so she won't hurt us," Taehyung chimed in.
"Ivy-Rose wouldn't hurt us! She never did!" I cried, struggling not to raise my voice too much. I didn't want Ivy-Rose to hear this conversation at all.
"Remember the first day she almost stabbed me with her dagger?" Namjoon asked.
"She's changed since the first day. You guys are all too blinded to notice!" I exclaimed. "Can't you see? Now, she cares for us regularly, she keeps us company, she makes sure we're comfortable!"
Jungkook nodded. "Hey, I've noticed it too," he confessed. "She's had a major character development. I don't know how or when, but it just happened."
I nodded. "Exactly! I know we were terrified of her when we first came here. I know we all even thought of just dying here, but things are different now. Ivy-Rose, that girl, she wants to help us get out. She's our key to freedom!"
"Wait a minute. Did you lie that you love her?" Jungkook asked, holding up his hands. "So she could free us?"
"NO!" I cried. "No, I really, actually fell for Ivy-Rose," I said. "I really love her. She may not be the ideal type I've always described, but as I've learned, people change."
Bangtan nodded their heads.
"I guess she has changed..." Jin trailed off. "But Jimin, you still have to be careful."
"There's a possibility she's lying about her feelings," Namjoon said.
"Well... About that," I started. "Ivy-Rose never exactly confessed back to me."
"Wait, what?!" Hoseok cried. "You made it sound like you two were deeply in love!"
I laughed nervously. "I forgot to tell you guys that Ivy-Rose is lacking the knowledge and concept of love..."
