The next morning, before Mia woke up, Pan snuck into Mia's room and flew over her while she slept. Mia soon woke up and shrieked, waking up to the sight of a floating Pan.
"What are you doing!?" Mia exclaimed, in fear.
"What? Doesn't everyone watch you sleep?" Pan asked, thinking this was normal.
"No! No one watches me sleep!" Mia exclaimed.
"Oh, well, you're up now and it's time for breakfast." Pan told Mia, casually. Mia got out of bed and her and Pan went outside for breakfast.
-----------------
"We made eggs in a basket, I love it!" Pan told Mia, rubbing his belly.
"No way, me too!" Mia exclaimed, in agreement, setting her hand on her chest.
"Awesome!" Pan exclaimed. The two ate their eggs in a basket together.
After Pan and Mia finished their eggs in a basket, Pan took Mia on an adventure. He took her through a hidden pathway through bushes, which transitioned into a tunnel, and lead to a lake...a lake of mermaids. Pan took her to Mermaid Cove.
---------------------------
"Oh...My...Gosh!" Mia exclaimed, in shock of the beautiful mermaids and the, just as beautiful, cove.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Pan asked Mia, smiling.
"It's amazing!" Mia exclaimed, in amazement.
Pan looked Mia in the eyes. "Nothing is as amazing as you." Pan smiled, gazing into Mia's sparkling eyes. Mia smiled back.
"Mia, I want to give you something." Pan told Mia.
"What is it?" Mia asked Pan.
"It's a necklace. But once again, not just any necklace," Pan said, pulling out a golden locket out of his pocket. "it's an ancient, magical necklace." Pan explained, putting the locket around Mia's neck.
"What do you mean?" Mia asked Pan, as she flips her brown hair out of the necklace.
"It's a necklace from the nymphs, dedicated to the sirens and every living creature." Pan explained to Mia. The necklace was a pure gold, seashell that reached just under Mia's chest.
After hanging out at the beach for about an hour, Pan and Mia decided to take a walk back into the forest.
They were having a nice conversation, but suddenly, they paused. They stood there and Pan cupped his hand on Mia's cheek and leaned in to kiss her. But, before their lips could connect, an arrow shot and flew in between them. Pan caught it with his other hand.
Pan and Mia turn their heads, just to find Mia's father.
"Get away from my daughter, you dirty scumbag!" Hook demanded Pan. Pan and Mia turn their heads and find Mia's father.
"Dad it's not what looks like!" Mia exclaimed.
"Oh really, Mia? Because it seemed to me like Peter, here, was about to kiss you!" Hook exclaimed, angrily.
"No! I swear that's not even close to what happened!" Mia lied.
"Really, Mia? Then what happened?" Hook asked his daughter.
"Um...well...I had some dirt on my cheek and he was just trying to wipe it off. See? Nothing happened!" Mia stuttered, coming up with a lie as fast as possible.
"Ah, I see. But why was he so close to your lips?" Hook asked his daughter, knowing she was lying.
"Um..." Mia stuttered.
"She had something in her eye!" Pan played along.
"You be quiet, scallywag!" Hook insulted Pan, pointing a bow and arrow, ready to aim at Pan.
"No, dad! It's true! I did have something in my eye, and Pan didn't have his contacts in so he had to get a really close look!" Mia explained, in another lie.
"Wait a minute...there aren't any contacts in Neverland...you two are lying!" Hook thought aloud, looking at Mia. Mia looked at the ground in disappointment. "Oh, Mia," Hook sighed, "I am so disappointed in you," Hook confessed. "We're going back to the real world!" Hook commanded.
Hook grabbed Mia's arm and began to walk away. Suddenly, Pan grabbed Hook by the shirt and told him face to face, "Hook, haven't you heard?" "No one...gets off of Neverland without my permission!"
"We'll see about that!" Hook sharply whispered.
"Stop!" Mia demanded. "You're my dad, and you're...my friend! Can't you two just like each other? What happened that was so bad you will forever hate each other!?" Mia asked, angered. Pan slowly let go of Hook's leather shirt and Hook slowly let go of Mia's arm.
"Can we talk?" Pan whispered into Hook's ear.
"Fine." Hook sighed. Hook and Pan walked away to talk privately.
--------------
"What?" Hook asked Pan.
"So, Mia thinks you won't be persuaded to let us be friends?" Pan asked, wanting clarification.
"She's right, as usual." Hook nodded, complimenting Mia, but also insulting Pan.
"Well, what if I were to offer you a free pass off of this island?" Pan bribed Hook.
Hook pointed at Pan. "I will find a way off this island, with or without your consent, and when I do, I'm taking my daughter with me!" Hook confidently told Pan.
"Oh, Hook, you're delusional. If you leave, you won't be taking your pretty little daughter, Mia! You will be leaving her behind...with me! And when you try to take her, and I know you will, I will wipe out her whole memory of you and her pirate years! And the only thing she will remember...is me!" Pan explained to Hook, in a mischievous and evil way.
They walked back to the crew and Mia.
---------------------
"Mia, great news! Your wonderful father is letting us be friends!" Pan lied to Mia.
"That's great! See? I told you guys you could work it out!" Mia exclaimed, excitedly, forming a group hug with Pan and Hook.
