CHAPTER 10

ALCOR'S POV

I opened my eyes widely. I was back in my body.

I stand up only to be stumbled down again. I guess when you are in a dead body then use your powers it drains a lot.

I sigh. I focus on my powers. Then when I opened my eyes my glowing blue eyes returned to brown.

Yes I know I died and came back to life as a demon. But a year ago I discovered that I can turn back into human. I can't used my powers if I'm human but I have strong sight,flexible, night vision and I can still float if I want to.

Turning back into a Demon takes time cause I need to focus on my energy again.

And I stand up,fix myself and lay down on my bed. It a lot of my energy was drained. And what I'm questioning how did Mabel suddenly became different. I mean I can still tell that she's still naive,clumsy,selfish, type of girl. But she suddenly good at sword. I asked some of my scouts about her and they said that she's really fast and smart at fighting for a human.

They even said that she was able to knock all human enemies and slay a lot of zombies by herself. When I first glance at her eyes became green rather than brown. And I have a feeling.

No that's impossible...

I was so deep I  thought that I was startled at someone knocking my door. And demon maid came in.

"Sire dinner is serve."

I nod and she left and I prepared myself and left my room.

I walk to the halls and Emilia came to me.

"Emilia get some medicine at my lab your hideous face annoy me!" I ordered and she immediately ran towards my lab.

I not really a rude person but her face is really hideous.

Now I was at the dining room. The table was really long. And I sat on the last and Bill on the other. We couldn't really talk considering of how long the table was. And the side of the table is where the Henchmaniacs and sometimes Juliet and Tad sat there.

I sat on my chair and my food was already served. While I was eating I look at 8-ball in disgust as he ate his meal. I mean all the Henchmaniacs eat their food disgustingly.

Then a portal appeared. And I know who it is.

"Hey Bill!" Krptos called out.

Bill went out of the portal looking really tired. He then sat on his chair and ate his meal. After dinner I help Bill to our room.

"How's your day honey?" I asked..

He look at me.

"Well I hadn't really ate the whole day. And I had a fight with someone." He said.

I raise an eyebrow.

"Why didn't you ate? And who did you fight?"

As he lay on the bed. He put his hand on his face.

"Someone tried to assassinate me. Last time someone poured some poison on my meal but I was able to avoid eating it." He said.

"Then I found out who's been trying to poisoned me and I killed him by shooting him in the head." He added then smirk.

I felt bad for my husband.

"Bill I think you had enough going to different dimensions for a meeting or making deals." I asked him.

"But Pinetree it's important." He whine.

I lay down next to him.

"I don't care. Your tired and someone wants you dead. You need to gather energy and don't worry I'll help you find the master mind." I said.
