Just Another Stupid Love Story (a magcon fan fiction)

Chapter 4

I looked at my phone to check the time. Damn 30 more minutes. My new neighbor and so far best/only guy friend Shawn Mendes was coming over soon to tell me some news. I was waiting in my new room, in my new house. The walls were pale white, the floor was wood except for underneath my bed which was a fluffy teal carpet. my bed was pretty big I think a queen. There were 2 glass doors leading out onto a little porch to look over the beach across from my bed. My closet was huge and had a lot of room for all my new spring clothes. I had a door next to my closet leading to my bathroom which was also pretty big.

I was still upset about leaving Meredith and Samantha behind but I FaceTimed at least one of them every night.

I heard a knock on my bedroom door before it flew open and Shawn barged in. I guess you could say me and him had become pretty fast friends.

"Hey Jordan!"

"Hey Shawn, what did you have to tell me?"

"Okay so you know how I have been making these vines and youtubes for a while and I have made some friends while doing it?" He said slowly leading on.

"Yeah... you guys do this magcon thing right?" I asked, he nodded.

"So we are going again on another tour for a month this time to New Jersey!"

I jumped up off of my bed and put my hand over my mouth.

"OH MY GOD SHAWN!!" He leaned back a little but I could tell he was prepared for this reaction.

"That's right near Fairfield, Connecticut. My old town!"

"I know and that's kind of what I wanted to talk to you about," he moved in closer to mean and put his hand on my shoulder, "I want you to come with us."

I sat there with my jaw dropped and my eyes wide. "I.. I.. YES!"

He raised his arms in the air.

"Yes I would love to come with you let me go tell my parents." I ran down the stairs as fast as I could to the kitchen where my dad was sitting and my mom was making dinner.

"Mom? Dad? Can I ask you guys something...?" They looked at me and nodded.

"You guys know how Shawn goes on tours with some other friends." They nodded again, this time looking at each other.

"Well this time they are going to New Jersey, and he has invited me to go with them...?" I said stretching the m and saying it in my best puppy dog face.

They looked at each other again and then back at me.

"Yes, you can go but I need all of the details asap and you better behave Jordan!"

I could still hear her but I was running back up the stairs to Shawn.

"They.. said... yes..." I said out of breath.

"Yay ok well we leave tomorrow so start packing."
