the car pulled up to the driveway just outside of the school. me brad and tristan climbed out of the car and walked along the path towards the entrance of the school. tristan rushed ahead making sure there was no teachers so we wouldn't get caught for staying out all night, me and brad followed behind and walked to the house we stay in. we were in their bedroom, i stood their admiring it, the walls were covered in posters of bands and one corner of the room was full of music instruments.
"connor needs to hurry up, we need to get rehearsing" brad moaned.
"rehearsing for what?" i asked them.
"battle of the bands, it's at the end of term, and connor decided to stupidly sign us up"
"brad is extremely negative towards the idea, but me and connor personally think it could benefit us as a band" tris sniggered.
the door opens and connor, imogen and beth walk in.
"finally we can start practice" tristan cheered.
"okay let's start off with sweater weather?" brad asked.
the boys all agreed and they sounded amazing, everything about their sound was perfect.
"guys that was amazing!" i squealed.
"thank you" they all softly spoke.
"right well we must be off, you know girl stuff and all, see you boys later" imogen smirked dragging me and beth away.

"so...what's going on between you and brad?" imogen asked.
"nothing, we are friends? i think i'm not even sure we are that to be honest"
"right okay, i'll try to believe that" imogen smirked.
"are you and tristan official?" i asked.
"yeah"
"cute"
"what about beth and con"
"technically they're together but they're not, they pretend it's complicated"
"got it"
"anyway we need sleep, it's battle of the bands tomorrow, night girls"
and with that, we all fell asleep. for some reason i feel oddly close to brad, i feel like i can trust him, yet i don't even know him?
