"So. You're Nicola Philippaerts' girlfriend huh?" She said in a kind of disgusted tone.

"Yeah. Your point is." I replied picking up Pepper's feed bucket and scoop then walking to Alaska's tack box and getting the same two items.

"Well. I think Nicola is too much for you to handle. He's 21 and you're 17. Bit of an age gap don't you think?" She asked, looking at her nails.

"Listen. Just because you want Nicola for yourself doesn't mean you have to make up stories. Me and Nicola are perfectly fine with each other. Now if you'll excuse me. I have to feed my horses." I snapped and walked out towards the horseboxes.

"You're not good enough for him you know. He needs someone more sophisticated. Someone who knows how to handle him. If you break up with Nicola, I'll tell you who murdered your father three years ago - "

"You alright Chelsea?" Anna asked from behind me.

"I'm fine. This official just got a little confused over something." I said through gritted teeth. Anna dragged me towards the horseboxes where Olivier and Nicola were sorting out their horses feeds but still sharing a conversation. A tear slid down my cheek as Nicola looked up and he was by my side faster than I could even blink.

"Baby girl. What happened?" He asked putting his feed buckets down and pulling me against his chest.

"The blonde official who came to get us earlier. She said that I wasn't capable enough of dating you and that she was more sophisticated and experienced. She told me to break up with you and that you could have chosen someone better." I sobbed.

"That stupid bitch. I'm gonna file a complaint." Nicola growled.

"Just ignore her. If we react, she's gonna keep doing it. If we ignore her, she'll she that she's getting nowhere. The Philippaerts family and their relationships with their girlfriends are as strong and as unreachable as the earth's core itself. She'll see that and eventually back down." Olivier said. We all clapped and I began to sort out Pepper and Alaska's feed for the evening.

Nicola came back to Pepper and Alaska's stables with me and I went to Harley and Donatella's stables with him before we headed back to the horsebox for a decent nights sleep. I laid in Nicola's arms and continued to trace patterns onto the back of his hand, long after he was asleep. I kept seeing things that scared me. Hearing wolves howling in the surrounding woodland. I heard panting outside the door and sat bolt upright. Nicola stirred awake and rubbed his eyes tiredly.

"What's up baby girl?" He yawned.

"I heard panting outside the door. And I keep hearing and seeing things that spook me." I said.

"Come here." He said and pulled me back down, facing his chest. "That panting was probably one of the guard dogs. The manager said they keep away foxes, wolves and potential dangers to the horses staying here. These dogs are trained to fight anything that resembles a threat to the competition horses staying here." He said, kissing my forehead softly. "And as for the shadows, just close your eyes and pretend your in an open field with me and Pepper and Harley and Cherry and any others horses you want." He said. I let my eyes droop until they closed fully and I let my head fill with dreams of when Cherry was alive and well.

The next morning, the official competition started. We had to leave early again and fly to Miami for the second leg of the tour held at Miami Beach Arena. For this one, I would use Alaska and take it in turns with him and Pepper but both would get either ridden or lunged.

Me and Nicola discovered we were on the earlier flights because we had the four horses that hate travelling and I also grew anxious so it was better if us two went ahead earlier than the others. Ludo rearranged our tickets and everything so that we could stick to the plan.

Again, I was nervous as hell on the flight but Nicola being the amazing boyfriend he is, kept me calm and made sure I had only happy thoughts in my head. He remained as close to me as possible and made sure I slept plenty. But the sight I woke up to was one that took my breath completely away and made me feel like I wasn't even in a plane.

The sun was just rising and the plane was coming in to land. Nicola took my hand and laced his fingers with mine as the plane descended. Suddenly, the whole plane began to shake and rattle like mad. I began to panic and frantically look around.

"Babe relax. It's just turbulence." I could barely hear Nicola's voice. A flight attendant came over to me and Nicola.

"is she alright sir?" The attendant asked.

"She's terrified. The turbulence spooked her a bit." Nicola said and put his arm around my trembling shoulders.

"Babe. Even the flight attendant said it's turbulence. Just relax." Nicola soothed. I took a deep breath and grabbed his arm in terror as more turbulence hit the plane making it rattle again. When the plane touched down, the captain spoke.

"This is your Captain speaking. We just encountered some turbulence back there in the Miami morning weather. Thank you for flying with us and enjoy your time here in Miami." I jumped out of my seat and got out of the plane as quickly as I could. Nicola caught up with me and I buried my head into his chest.

"There. All over." He said and linked his hands with mine as we went to get our passports stamped. We did the same routine and collected the horses before loading them up into Nicola's horsebox and driving to the venue.

The horses settled down quickly and me and Nicola were approached by Horse and Country TV.

"Hi there. Could we possibly get you two to say a message for the audience?" The man in charge asked as we held Alaska and Harley in our hands.

"Sure. What do you want us to say?" Nicola responded.

"This." The man said, handing us a piece of paper.

"We can do that." I said and patted Alaska.

"Excellent. In 3, 2, 1, go."

"Hi I'm Chelsea Acer." I said.

"And I'm Nicola Philippaerts." Nicola said immediately after.

"And you're watching Horse and Country TV" We said together.

"Brilliant. That was perfect" The man said cut the camera.

"Any time." Nicola said as we walked off with our horses.

We put them in their designated stables and left them to chill out whilst me and Nicola scrubbed the horsebox. Afterwards, we sat on the steps of the living area and just enjoyed being in each other's company. Nicola was sat behind me on the top step and I was sat one step below him between his legs. He was fiddling with his phone in his hands so I took it and opened the camera.

"Come on Nicola. The fans have to have our first selfie picture." I said. He chuckled and leaned forwards, resting his chin on my shoulder and wrapping his arms around my waist. I turned my head and kissed his cheek as I took the photo. I gave Nicola his phone back and he posted it on his Twitter and Instagram. Within minutes it had over 2000 likes, hearts and shares with uncountable comments. Some were hate but most were shipping comments. Me and Nicola posted another selfie of me sat in his lap and my arms around his shoulders with a hashtag and ship name we had chosen. Nicolasea (Nicola and Chelsea). Again thousands of like and shares.

When Ludo and the others arrived, they congratulated us on the photos we posted and decided to get an extra bit of sleep whilst their horses settled. But me and Nicola decided to ride each others horses. I rode Donatella N and he rode Pepper. Afterwards, we would lunge Alaska and Harley then go back to our horsebox and chill out.
