Chapter 23

Izzy POV

I ran, I ran as fast as I could, I could feel myself transforming back into being the form I was from the start. everything felt weighted on my shoulders. I couldn't breathe properly.

Probably because I'm turning back into a human. As soon as I reach the shore everything that the genie has done for me has disappeared.

I never ran so fast in my life.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?"

I heard Queen Coralie, of course she now had turned her tail into a pair of legs. She started storming her way towards me.

Great another problem I gotta deal with..

"hmmmm this looks an emergency to me.. pixie dust awa-"

She then grabbed my hand and put my hands together as if I was being arrested by her guards or something..

"I do not THINK so!"

I only raised an eyebrow and spoke.

"Y'know you don't have to cut me off EVERY time I speak right?"

The queen only scoffed in response, she grabbed my pixie dust swiftly and blew on the pouch and the pixie dust dissapeared into ashes. My eyes widened and tears start to slowly stream down my face. Anger took over me and I instantly began to argue.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. THAT PIXIE DUST WAS SO IMPORTANT TO ME AND THEN YOU JUST GET RID OF IT.?"

The queen only snickers and lets go of my arms which are know bruised with hand marks, she was holding so hard to the point when she BRUISED me.. I only glare at her.

"Iz, liste-"

"Don't call me that. Only my mateys can call me that, mainly jake."

"Exactly what I wanted to talk about darling.... Jake. You must understand why I am pulling him away from you."

This caught my attention I remove the bangs out of my face and tuck them behind my ear as I continued to listen now more interested.

"It may look like jake cares, but one day the others are going to forget about you, and then you won't have any. Body. Left."

It was my turn to scoff. I looked at her intensely as I could and asked

"What makes you say that?"

Queen Coralie laughed and caught me off guard, my face softened and a small 'Huh?' Came out of my mouth.

"Oh! Isn't it obvious? That captain can't even be there for you because he rather have time for other girls, at times when you were in trouble you had to get yourself out, he didn't care! Nobody cares about you!.. except for me darling"

Tears came out of my eyes which then turned to angry eyes. I looked up at her.

" THAT'S BILDGE WATER! People care about me and you certainly do not care about me!"

The queen sighed obviously annoyed with me and put her hands on my shirt, gripped tight and started to drag me somewhere. I tried to fight off of her grip but she was too strong. I had no other choice but to wait on it.

I can't help but notice the scenery when I get dragged to my doom. Yeah, okay I know now isn't such a good time and believe me I know, but I might as well just go with this direction for now.

I can't believe how calm these trees look, the sky was as dark as captain Jakes hat. The stars glistened so brightly. The moon was shining up in the sky and the moonlight reflected down to the calm Neverland seas.. yay hey... Neverland is truely beautiful at night.

My thoughts were interrupted when the queen summoned us to her castle. A light came upon both of us and we turned back into mermaids..I was terrified but I knew what was coming next.

She dragged me along the floors of her castle, past the few rooms she has, and straight to her cage thing that she threatened to throw me in. Well guess what she does now.... yep, she threw me in, locked the cage and laughed.

"Now you're really a pet." The queen laughed at my face and fiddled with her jewellery hanging on her neck as she did so.

I can't help but notice that that same gem reminded me of something I read in a book while doing some research. I scanned it over, is that?.... My thoughts were interrupted again when she snatched the gem away from my sight and held it close. Having me look at her face to face...

I grimaced at her in response and she only left the room without a word looking the door behind her. I need a hero...

But could what the queen said be true... does jake not care about me? Do the others want to kick me off the team.... am I not relevant? Doesn't jake not like me?

HEYYYYY MATEYSSSSS I DID IT. AFTER ALMOST OVER A YEAR OF PROCRASTINATION I FINALLY DID IT.
