Hanna's P.O.V
I've always had a normal life and I thought my life was pretty good. I thought possibly what could go wrong? Then I was told the news the next morning and didn't know what I was going to do. "We're moving to California," my mom said as she grabbed suitcases and boxes out of the closest. Surely, I had no idea why we were going to California and to be honest I didn't want to go. I have too many friends here. I can't leave them, what am I going to do? Mom snapped me out of my thoughts when she told me the plans on how we're getting there. "Unfortunately, your father and I couldn't get plane tickets so we have to travel by car," mom said as she walked into the living room. "How about we just not go at all?" I whined. "Your father got a great job down there, it's better to go to California than live in little old Utah," she said as she started packing her suitcase. "Now go pack." She said. I made my way to my room and I couldn't believe we were actually going through with this. I grabbed my suitcase and packed as many clothes and items as I could. After I was done packing, I grabbed my suitcase and put it in the hallway. I was leaving my room when Tiffany was bringing her suitcase out in the hall. "How does it feel leaving all your-" she paused mid sentence. "Oh wait, you don't have any friends." She smirked and made her way into the living room. I followed her and made sure I had everything. "We're leaving tomorrow morning, so make sure you have everything packed and with you," my mom said as she was zipping up her suitcase. "Your dad is going to be home soon and then you can put your stuff in the back of the car," she said as she made her way into the kitchen. I sighed in defeat as I walked away. I'm going to lose all my friends and have no one in Cali. I hope it's not as bad as it seems and I make some friends along the way. I saw dad pulling up the drive way. I walked down the hall to grab my suitcase to put it in the car. "Hello honey," my dad said as he walked through the door. "Hello, how was your day dear?" She asked as she got dinner ready. "Busy, as usual but, I bet California is going to be even busier," he said as he sat his work stuff down. The day flew by and I wasn't ready for my new life in California, let alone making new friends.

The next morning came and we were ready to get into the car and drive miles to get to California. Tiffany was pretty excited, considering the fact that there would be more "eye candy" for her to look at. I never understood why she took it upon herself to scout out every cute guy on a 100 meter radius but, I guess that's just her. We were just about to leave until my mom freaked out and made sure we had everything packed and out that house. We all reassured her that we did. It wasn't until 30 minutes later that we started our trip to California and I was already wishing that my parents found a flight. This is going to be the longest trip ever. I'm not sure if it's even worth it. I put in my headphones, leaned against the window, and mumbled, "this is going to be the worst trip ever."
