Chapter 6

HAYES'S POV

I could tell Avery was worried that something would happen between me and Nash. I texted her I just said, I promise. When I got to Nash's room I walked in and yelled, "WHEN DID YOU HELP SET ME AND AVERY UP, AND YOU ARE 19 AND SHE IS 15 WHAT ARE YOU THINKING SAYING YOU LIKE HER," and Nash sat there in awe like I didn't hear him ever say that. "BTW AVERY HEARD YOUR LITTLE CONVERSATION WITH CAMERON TOO," and I sat there waiting for him to reply and all he said was, "How did you find out," so I replied, "I heard you talking and I guess there's no need to explain why you think you like her because I heard all of that too."

AVERY'S POV

I think I might have heard a couple of yells come from downstairs. I decided to rush down the flight of stairs an barge into the room when I see Hayes crying because apparently Nash had punched and slapped him a couple of times. "OH MY GOD, NASH! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO HIM? AND HAYES ARE YOU OKAY?" I couldn't believe what was going on because of me, but Nash convinced the owner people to let me come, so this drama can't be my fault. "Hayes, come on I don't want Nash to hurt you anymore." We went to my room and I gave him a bag of ice and picked a movie. I feel like we needed a thin to cheer us up so I put in DespicableMe2.

About 10 minutes into the movie Hayes said, "Avery can I ask you something?" and I replied, "Yea, what is it." Hayes kinda looked nervous and I was thinking he was about to tell me why he needed to talk to me. Then he just let it out, "Avery I LOVE YOU and I want you to know that. I know we haven't been dating that long, but it just feels right. And I've had other girlfriends, but I've need love them like I love you." And then he leaned in and kissed me and I kissed back and I knew what he was talking about when he said it felt right. I feel happier and safer when I'm around him and I knew I loved him too. I pulled back and I said, "Hayes Grier, I LOVE YOU TOO!" and we both knew that we wouldn't let Nash ruin that and that we had to do something about it.

It was about 1 hour into the movie when I fell asleep in Hayes's arms and I guess he had fallen asleep too because I woke up still in his arms. I sat up and looked at the time and remembered we were leaving today. I woke Hayes up and he have me a good morning kiss which I kinda interrupted by telling him to leave and get his stuff because we were leaving to day. He left and I told him I'd meet him in the lobby in 20 minutes to go to the airport. I threw on my Aztec printed leggings that were the shorter type so I could wear them with flip-flops and a long sleeve t shirt. I only put on mascara and put my hair in a messy bun. I never really unpacked so all my stuff was still kinda in my bag already so I knew I had everything, but then I realized that Lilly wasn't here and I was kinda worried. Hayes was rooming with Matt so I texted him and he said that She was sleeping on their couch and that I should pick her out an outfit and pack up whatever she left or she would miss the flight. So I did all of that and have got ready so fast you wouldn't even believe it.

HAYES'S POV

I waited in the lobby for a minute with Matt before Avery and Lilly came down. And then we were talking for literally one minute a and then Nash came down and he walked over to me and Avery. He just said that he realized that something was just wrong with him yesterday and he didn't really like Avery and we forgave him. But I didn't really know if that was true.

On the plane the rows had 4 seats each so me, by the window seat, Avery, Matt, and Lilly all sat together. We talked the whole way, except for on the last hour when Avery put her head on my shoulder and fell asleep, to New York City. Avery was still asleep when we got there so to wake her up I kissed her forehead and gently shook her a little. We got into the limo outside the airport and went to the hotel and got some dinner.

Okay so this was an emotional chapter wasn't it. And the next chapter gets super cray-cray so buckle your seat belts cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride of love for Avery and Hayes.
