A/N: You should know that the last character was called the Marionette, but it obviously isn't their real name, so if it IS in their Point of view, it's not going to say Marionette.
Last chapter:
After a relentless night, the Sun shined through the dusty windows of my vintage house. I rose from my bed, and pushed my legs off of the side of bed. I could feel my head pound, and my body felt heavy. Knowing from what happened last night, I knew my shoulder would start to hurt any time now. I stepped foot outside my bedroom door, and walked towards a certain room.
Now:
???'s POV
As I walked through the door of the room, I noticed the man already up and awake. "Well, it's nice too know somebody made it through the night" I laughed, sitting in a chair next to the bed that the man lied on. "Who? Ar-, wait. Your the one that they label as the Marionette!" He caught on, surprising. "Indeed." Such simple words, enough could tell a lifetime.
"Heh, how interesting" He laughed, smiling. 'Interesting indeed'. "What do you find so amusing?" I asked, even through all he's been through, he never seems to care. "Just you in general. The biggest, scariest killer in the world, and my chances of meeting him couldn't have been any better. Even for such a big person, you still hide behind a mask" I laughed, starting to like his enthusiasm.
"Such a big mouth you have" I sat proudly in my chair, I felt like a king. "What an attitude you have." He arose from the bed, looking at the broken floorboards. "Where do you think you're going? You can't leave here alive" I watched him rock his feet against the floor, creaking with every muscle that moved. "Anywhere but here. What. Are you going to kill me?" He snickered, walking closer to the door.
With a few steps, I was right there at his throat with a knife. "That was the plan" I smiled, laughing. He smiled back, a little surprising to me actually. "Aren't you going to ask me if I have any last words?" He kept that same creepy ass smile. He started looking like the psychopath "Okay. Got any?" What a silly way to die. Telling words that you'll never speak, why wait to tell somebody something? Be an asshole and say it straight to their face. I'm sure I'd do it, obviously.
"None that I can think of" Still. He kept that sadistic smile. "Well, I got a few for ya. Why'd you not freak out when I grabbed you by the collar?" He took a deep breath, and exhaled. "Because, I'm not so afraid of dying. And as soon as you did, they ran off like a bunch of pussies. All I want now is their bodies burned at the stake." His smile got even more furious. This kid is really something.
"Heh heh, you're one of a fucking kind, I'll tell you that. I could use somebody with your kind of effort." I slowly removed the knife away from his throat, watching him swallow nervously. "You want me to join you? He laughed, only before noticing that I was serious. "Think of it this way, I'll get a partner in crime *Hehe*, and you can burn your friends at stake" I'm sure if I was in his place, I'd agree.
"Fine, but before anything else happens, I want to know why you wear a mask." There it was. That same smile. "Why do your bangs always cover you eyes?" I slammed my hand against the wall, I could feel the vibration on the wall and floor. We both noticed a huge dent in the wall. "Not important, I asked you a question first" He snapped quickly, and stomped his foot against the wooded floor. "You first".
"I'll tell you why, after you show me what's under that mask of yours." He nearly pulled the mask down himself, if I didn't move when I did. "Ladies first" I bowed, rolling my arm like one of those gentlemen you only see on TV. He sighed loudly, moving his bangs to the side. "Happy bitch?" It actually amazed me, his eyes were a complete black. No retinas, no eyeballs, nothing.
"Holy shit" He kept his bangs out of the way, and didn't look very happy afterwards. "Now it's your turn to show me your secret" He grabbed a small hair clip from his pocket, and kept his bangs from irritating his eyes. *So manly. Right?* "Now it's your turn." He looked angry, and tapped his foot. "I don't think I want to." I laughed, stepping away. He grabbed my arm, and furrowed his eyebrows. "I made a deal, and it's your turn to show me your burden." His grip got tighter, and a vein popped from his neck and forehead. "You might want to calm down before the veins pop out of your body" I slapped his hand, he immediately let go, and kept his head bowed. His eyes looked furious, endlessly looking at the ground.
Something popped through my head, thinking what was making him so mad. All I did was make a deal that I didn't fall upon. That's the problem? How childish. A brave human, simply getting angry over something that didn't happen. How interesting that somebody's interest in things can change so drastically. I guess I can't blame him for felling normal human emotions.
What an interesting man, indeed.
Very interesting.
