No ones P.O.V.

(y/n) walked through the forest, lost in thought as her feet brought her deeper into the dark. The forest was pretty peaceful for this time of day, all the animals and gnomes and...other mythical creatures that resided inside were lively. Tolerating each others presence for yet another day.

Strangely enough (y/n) found any noises the creatures happened to be making were slowly fading off into the distance. It was almost as if they were avoiding her...or maybe they were avoiding something much more menacing deeper within. It was hard to tell exactly which of the two.

It wasn't long before the sounds of the forest had completely disappeared, leaving (y/n) with nothing but an erie silence and the occasional blow of the wind. She stopped walking for a moment and looked around.

The sun was still casting enough light for her to see, the trees towering high over her head seemed to be watching her every move. The magical energy in this forest was very high, but this fact made sense. A forest filled with creatures of weirdness would resinate more energy then a town plagued with magic-less humans.

Yet this one area, had much, much more magical energy then the rest of the forest. Magical energy that was supposed to summon fear into the souls of anyone who dared to walk through. For (y/n) though, the feeling was different, she knew if was supposed to cause fear she's a dream demon she was tell easily, but...

This magic made her feel...protected, safe like everything that happened a mere few minutes ago didn't matter. All that anger she had felt moments before drifted away, engulfed by the feeling of peace. This bugged her she hadn't felt this way since her father had died, he was the only one who could make her feel safe.

(y/n) allowed this feeling to wash over her for a while longer, looking around to find its source. She noticed a strange looking rock peaking out from behind a tree it looked like...a hand? (y/n) felt herself being drawn towards it, and as she stepped closer the feeling became stronger and then.

She was standing face to face with with her father, no the cold stone remains of her father that was driven deep into the ground.

"(y/n)?"

It was her dad's voice echoing in her head, a memory of before "what are you doing here?! I told you not to come to gravity falls yet, its too dangerous"

"But dad you and the other's look like you're having so much fun!" (Y/n) had replied crossing her arms in annoyance "I'm almost 1300 definitely old enough to cause some mayhem! And besides don't see any danger, you have this town in the palm of your hand!"

"Yes but there are a few...pests I need to take care of first, the pines family, and that barrier of course" He replied "you're going to stay in the demon realm until I say you can come understand?"

"But da-"

"No but's (y/n) Iluminauti Cipher" He said using (y/n)'s full name, she had flinched before looking up at her father again.

"Can we make a deal?" She had asked with a smile. Bill had simply laughed before putting an arm around her shoulder, she was in her human form at the time but it didn't really make a difference as bills little stubs of arms could grow to any size he wanted

"Don't worry my daughter, soon enough this whole world will be your play ground and you can do what you want with it and its inhabitants" He had said showcasing the weirdness ridden town in front of them. (Y/n)'s smile had widened in the thought of ruling another dimension alongside her father.

"I can't wait" (y/n) had replied as her father moved away from her side.

"I'll come back for you soon Lumi" He had said using his nickname for her "it won't be long now..."
