Confessions

"What?"

I didn't answer, only waited for his reply. I didn't know why I was so nervous, or what I was expecting, but I thought he would scoff at me and call me ridiculous. Maybe even act like all that was nothing.

He walked closer and I held my breath. I felt his hands caress my cheeks and move to look at me.

"I really like you Izuku."

I flushed, sputtering. It sounded so.. natural.. coming out of his mouth. It just slid right off his tongue. 

"Then why..?" I asked, confused. "Why are you acting so mean at school?"

His face fell, but he held my gaze. A frown appeared on his features. "I'm sorry." My heart skipped a beat. Did he just say he's sorry? "I didn't know if you wanted me to do anything." All my nervousness was wiped away as I sighed in relief. 

"Oh. I'm sorry you felt that way, Kaachan." I brought my hands up  to his neck and lightly caressed the soft skin. 

"Will you, perhaps.." I stared at him, noticing a hint of insecurity in his gaze before it was washed away. "Go out with me?" 

I stared at him, blinking, before I broke out in a huge grin. 

"Of course, Kaachan."

He blushed, clearing his throat as he looked away. 

"Thanks.. Izuku."

I smiled at him and leaned in for a delicate kiss.
