The moon glistened across the night sky as the streets were emptied, nothing remaining but the eventual tumbling litter and gusts of wind. The lamps around the small village illuminate the nearby buildings and paths. The sky was cloudy, signs of rain were clear, but not for a while. A lone cabin sat atop a hill, the surrounding trees were all dead but one that was sat within a few meters of the establishment. It was clearly being well looked after much unlike the cabin. Two silhouettes stood outside the entrance armed with daggers, each with a gem within the guard of the handle. The gem was composed of two colours, the inside was black which was complemented by the purple outside. The two appeared to be having a conversation as they entered the building. "You get that?" A voice questioned quietly, silence being broken by the sound of boots squelching in mud. "Yeah. This might be easier than we thought" A female voice replied back, metal clanging slightly before a leather could be heard being stretched. "Keep that tightened. We can't have our equipment giving away our location, Birdie." Another announced themselves as an annoyed huff escaped out of her mouth. "I'm sorry! The buckle broke on the way here, I- "She was interrupted by the first male motioning them to silence their voices. He then pointed to what looked like more thugs. The two moved forwards attempting to get a better sight. "Birdie, Recon." He spoke, almost interrupting himself showing his indecision. "Akihiko, Spotting" Birdie pushed herself back, sitting down on what seemed to be the driest part of the location they positioned themselves at. She crossed her legs as she spread her arms out. It wasn't long before her fingers came together in a triangle towards the wooden cabin, her form froze as her eyes opened to reveal nothing but white. "Kakino- ""Don't... Call me that." He paused as he sighed. "Hiroaki, sorry. Are you sure this what you want to do. He is your- "" I'm sure. He's done too much for him to be considered a good man. Let's just- "He stopped upon hearing twigs breaking, the conversation ending once they realized Birdie finished scoping the area. "Three inside. Five entering the site." She said quickly, Akihiko looking back to Hiroaki as he turned to the cabin. "That means we have to do this three on eight. This might be difficult." He added on to the subject. "When we head in, we have to be prepared for the worst. For all we know there could be script magic set up to stop trespassers from entering certain areas." Akihiko returned his focus to his team mates. "That's why Birdie is here. I haven't seen a better solid script user than her." Hiroaki spoke, Birdie's cheeks turning from a peach to rosy red. "Plus our team is multifaceted. We should be good on most fronts." The others nod at his comment before they all turn to the cabin. "Are we ready then?" He added before pulling a piece of cloth up from around his neck, covering his lower face up to halfway up his nose. The others doing the same with the addition of putting up their hoods. He didn't need verbal confirmation to know they were ready. The group began to sprint towards the structure.

Their footsteps were near to silent, the occasional wet slapping of their feet hitting the moist surface. The five-man group began to disperse with two of the men staying outside, most likely to keep watch. "Two ahead." Birdie pointed out, Kakino acknowledging what she said as he continued at a steady pace. It took about 40 seconds before he stopped abruptly, his head cocking to the others as he put a finger to his lips over the cloth. "Why do we always get the boring jobs." One of the men grumbled as he kicked dirt. "Because the last time you had an important role, you fucked the whole operation. This client the boss is dealing with is very important. Big Reputation. We can't afford to fuck it up." The voices become muffled as the three converses. "What do you think?" Akihiko whispered. "The intel was good. And they haven't said anything that is too far out of what we received." Birdie added as Hiroaki cocked his head to the two, then back at his team. At this point, the two were heavily invested into their conversation, Hiroaki leaving them while they spoke. He kept close to the wall of dirt that sloped slightly into the swampland they stood in. He made his way up as he came to the road, the two men blabbering on about their bosses 'Client'. He stopped, seeing his only option of getting behind them being going into the open. He looked around, seeing a decent sized rock half in the mud. He dug it out, soon tossing it as it created the perfect distraction he needed. The two men paused, their bodies tense and their overall body language seemed startled. They both began to squander who was to investigate, until it came to a decision that they would go together. The walked slowly, drawing their weapons as they made it within a meter of the rock's contact with the ground. Hiroaki took a long breath, standing up quickly. "Light Technique: Entrapment" he practically mumbled as light shot out in multiple beams around the two guards, completely binding them, starting with their mouths. The light binds then disconnected from his hands for them only to connect and finish the spell. "While you two are bickering. I've already dealt with these two..." His tone was darker and seemed to have more weight on the words. Birdie and Akihiko stood up, both releasing annoyed sighs either from not being included in sorting the guards out or just from their slight argument. They joined him as he was disarming the guards, tossing their weapons into the mud as they sank. "No more trouble from these then." Akihiko spoke over the muffled cries for help coming from the men. "Indeed. Let's continue. The cabin looks quite large, we sure there's no other entrances Birdie?" Birdie shook her head before turning her head to the front door. "I wasn't able to detect one, so we'll have to go on the assumption that there isn't one." She replied almost instantly. "Gotcha. Front door then." Akihiko took a slow pace towards the door. "No solid script. That's a relief." He added before trying to turn the door knob, it being blocked by the lock mechanisms. "And it's locked..." Hiroaki spoke as he walked up to the door. "Locking mechanism isn't the usual ones either. I won't be able to pick lock it." He added onto the list of problems. He sighed once more before standing. "It can't be helped, I guess. Fire Technique; Blazing Ember" He mumbled as he pointed towards the door with his index finger, flames spiralling outwards as it turned the door to ash.

"There's no one here..." Birdie entered the hallway, starting at a slow pace before slightly speeding up as she ventured further into the building, Akihiko and Hiroaki following behind her. It didn't take very long before their search lead them to find that no one was in the house. "They were here right, Birdie?" Akihiko's voice sounded slightly aggressive with a slight hint of an annoyed tone. "I'm sure. We watched them enter here too right, guys?" She added before turning to Hiroaki who was staring at a painting above the chimney. "Yeah. It doesn't matter now though. If we can't find them, we'll have to wait outside for them to leave." He took his eyes of the photo as he guided himself outside, footsteps following from behind. "We got us some trespassers, boys." A raspy voice called as men hidden in shadows of dead trees revealed themselves. A line of men merely four meters away from them separated, revealing what they three could only assume was their boss and their target. "Hiroaki. Birdie. Akihiko." The man spoke. He wore a torn, brown cloak which hood covered his entire face. The only thing it didn't hide was his glowing twin blades and grey trimmed beard. "Genjo." Akihiko's monotone voice only demonstrated his concern for Hiroaki, the man's first born. "Genjo. As much as I'd like to play catch up with you, we have business." The male next to him spoke, sighing as he expressed how much of an inconvenience this was for him. "Perhaps we can continue this ano- " His words were cut off by the sounds of bodies dropping to the floor. "I'm sorry dad, but since that run in with you and Sachi, I've learned a few tricks when it comes to handling you." He says as their boss fell to the ground, blood spilling from his back. The rest of his men fall also, although, they weren't Hiroaki's doing, his clones only destroyed his fathers who planned to kill the small guild in the first place. "You're getting better at hiding your clones Hiroaki. I see my training is coming in handy." Genjo replied back, a sigh escaping his mouth before he dropped his hood. The man looked to be in his thirties. "If you don't mind me asking, Hiroaki... Why follow the footsteps of Umbra when you're mother and I-""You? You left us, Left Sachi, Left Luna. You didn't come back because of some person you thought you could get back and you couldn't... You failed as a friend to those you cared for, and the father for those who loved you. You don't get the benefit of the doubt anymore, Dad." Birdie and Akihiko looked in shock at Hiroaki once he finished his sentence. "You may have trained me, but even you can't teach strength." He spoke as he surrounded himself in light, Genjo having the same reaction, however his was more of a fiery colour. "Hiroaki... Don't do this." Genjo spoke a moment before his son's light cloak began to transform into a dark purple colour. "I'm done with you. Solo Unison; Equilibrium!" He called out, his body splitting into light and dark as he fired a beam of the two elements straight at his father, launching him back into a large bolder that was revealed in the blast. "Hiroaki!" Birdie cried out, worried for his mentality. "Please calm down! You can't over exert yourself!" Her words were loud and clear, yet none of them reached him. "Die..." He mumbled before, within a blink of an eye, he disappeared. "Hiroaki!!!" Birdie screamed, him now in their vision as a metallic blade pierced his shoulder, his father pierced in the upper knee. "Die."
