Hi guys! This is my first book on wattpad so don't judge me too harshly! I hope you like it! :)
Ashley's POV
I take a deep breath and walk through the doors.
My last day of being in Year 11.
I'm not exactly one of the most popular people here, but I find that a relief. I hate attention and although I'm not totally ignored, I'm not one of those girls that everyone knew either.
Not like Chelsea Summers.
Typical school slut, too much makeup, blah blah blah. So cliché it makes me want to vomit.
Anyway, as I was saying, it was my last day of being in Year 11. Also, it was the last day I had to put up with my idiotic older brother going to the same school as me.
I was ashamed to admit, that my brother was Andy Davis and he was a complete player. He toyed with girls hearts and as soon as they felt safe, he broke them.
I have absolutely no idea what they see in him. Apparently he's good looking, sexy, hot even. I cringe even thinking about it.
"Hey nerdster how's it going?" A voice asks. Speaking of the devil......
"You saw me literally two minutes ago. Not much changes in two minutes," I roll my eyes at him.
"What? Can't I ask my sister how she is doing?" Andy pretends to act innocent.
I snort out loud. Andy innocent? Yeah right.
"Look I'm not going to waste my time talking you. What do you want?" I ask impatiently.
"Fine, fine. Look there's this party tonight at Logan's and...." I cut him off "Andy for the last time, I'm not coming! Party's are not my type of thing, besides Dylan, Leah and I were planning on watching a few movies tonight."
"C'mon, Ashley, it'll be fun." he wines.
I snort. " "Yeah right! Watching a bunch of hormonal teenagers practically getting it on in public is exactly how I plan to spend my first non school night."
"We'll continue this conversation later," he says.
I watch him walk off and give his friends the 'bro hug' thing. I shake my head.
What is with that?
I quickly run to my locker and grab my books. I made it to Maths just before the second bell rang.
"Cutting it close, aren't you?"
I turn around and see my best friend, Leah Feldman smirking at me.
"I had a little 'chat' with my dear brother," I say sarcastically.
"He was trying to convince you to come to Logan's party tonight, wasn't he?" she grins at me.
"Yup"
"You said no, didn't you?"
"Yup"
All of a sudden, something caught my eye. Well, not something but someone.
Noah Hayes.
He's my family friend, next-door-neighbour and major crush since the middle of Year 9.
He catches my eye and waves at me.
I watch as he sits down and gets his books out. He runs his hands through his sandy blond hair, shaking it out and then looking down at his book. As he looks down, his hair falls back in his eyes and and he pushes it back out of the way. I look at the way he tilts his head to the side when he listens. He gets this really thoughtful......
