From the moment I opened my eyes, I don't know if I am well experienced with life.
I don't know if I had the awesome life that every teenage girls have ever dreamed of before the incident happened that leads me into this situation right now. I don't know if I jumped off a cliff and survived, that feeling will be heckamazing. Or maybe if a ten-wheeler truck ran into my body, that sure is gonna hurt like hell.
Maybe I ran into a truck before because if what I am feeling right now is not pain then I don't know what it is.
I groaned as I took another fetus step towards the room's window.
I turned my head and looked how far I already accomplished for today's five-feet walk. The curse from my mouth was inevitable that I didn't managed to hold it right into my tongue or maybe swallow it like a bile, instead I even screamed the word.
"Fuck it!"
It was ten inches for Pete's sake!
My perilous glare flew to the door when it opened and showed a skinny and pale man in his white uniform. Great! New nurse again! Yay, insert sarcasm.
"I heard your scream, do you need something?" He asked me as he clasped the clipboard on his chest. His uneasiness movements and naughty eyes didn't conceal his fear towards me.
"Just get out of my sight. I don't need your help," I hissed. I took another step while holding the bedside table for support when my hand slipped and I fell.
"Help!" The lanky boy screamed.
I mentally rolled my eyes.
Bunch of nurses entered my room and quickly helped me get up and made me lie down again on the bed.
It took me ages to walk ten inches! Now what?
So irritating.
"Get your hands off me! I was just walking! " I growled, I screamed, I kicked, I punched. I don't know what I was doing.
They were all pissed and calling for a doctor named Z, apparently.
After being held by eight hands everywhere on my body, another nurse appeared in front of me with a syringe on her hand.
"No! Not another one! Get off!"
They didn't listen to me instead I felt the liquid seeping through my skin and all my energy . . . zilch.
I took a deep breath when another middle-aged man entered my room. His presence was too sophisticated and meticulous that it nearly confused the heck out of me. All the nurses went out of the room as soon as the man held up his hand as a signal.
My heart beats faster as I realized that we're the only ones inside the room already.
I'm scared.
Not because of the man's presence, but because of what he can do to me now that I am helpless.
"Ariana Crimson?" He asked me as he read something in his notes that made his brows meet.
"What do you want?"
His look went to my face as if he didn't like the tone I've used to him. After a couple of seconds of staring, the tip of his mouth curled up making a lopsided smile that surely made me shiver.
"I think I should be the one asking you that," he quietly said. My brows meeting showed my confusion so he continued. "What do you want, Ms. Crimson?"
Well, I just want to see the view outside my window! Of course, I didn't say it out loud. It sounds ridiculous.
"I've been getting a lot of reports lately of your misbehaviour. I didn't expect that you developed an attitude like that."
