Seafra was being dragged upstairs by Tearnan.
"Dude, you don't have to do this. I'm perfectly capable of looking after myself. I've been doing it my whole life", she said.
Tearnan stopped at a closed door. He opened it. It revealed a bedroom. A beautiful, big bedroom.
"You can stay here for as long as you want", Tearnan said, looking into the room. "It's not much, but overtime you'll probably make it your own."
Seafra looked at the room, her eyes filled with amazement.
"Not much? This room is amazing."
The walls where white. Except for the wall behind the bed, which was light blue. The whole room had the same color scheme. White and light blue. This is a room where kings sleep, she thought to herself. She turned around and saw that, next to Tearnan, Roan was now standing in the door opening. She didn't know what he thought of her staying here. After all, Tearnan didn't quite discuss it with him. Who's house was this anyway?
"this is a lovely house", she said as she studied both of their faces.
"thank you", Roan said. It was Roan's house, she knew it now. Not just because he answered, but the look on his face gave him away. He was very proud."You guys seem awful young to be living alone. How old are you anyway?" Seafra asked.
"eighteen. He's nineteen", Tearnan said. "And you?"
"eighteen as well", Seafra said, still inspecting the room. She noticed there was another door. It lead to a bathing room. She had her own bathing room. Seafra couldn't believe these guys actually allowed a complete stranger to stay with them.
"how come your so young and live alone? Where are your parents?" She asked. She saw the look on both of their faces and knew she shouldn't have asked such a personal question.
"Nevermind. You don't have to say anything", she said, trying not to make them uncomfortable. She stood in front of the armoire. It look so big on the outside. She wondered what it looked like on the inside.
"So", she said, breaking the silence. "three orphans onder one roof, huh." She saw that comment made Roan uncomfortable again.
"I know right. Funny, how fate works", Tearnan said. He smiled at her. She smiled back. Seafra noticed Tearnan was being awfully friendly. He was really trying to make her feel welcome. Why wouldn't he? He's the one that insisted she stay here. Roan stepped forward and handed her something. It was a black shirt that was noticeably to big for her.
"We'll get you a proper nightgown in the morning. For now this will do", He said. He was so serious.
"Thank you", she said. "but you really don't have to..." He left without letting her finish. How rude. Tearnan was still there.
"Well, I'm going to let you rest", Tearnan said as he left and closed the door behind him.Seafra didn't know how to feel. These guys where to generous. And Tearnan was so nice to her after she cleaned herself. She didn't know what to think about Roan. He couldn't be that emotionless. He did, after all, let her use their bathing room. Seafra decided she wouldn't worry about it to much. She would be gone soon enough, when she regained her straight she lost after all those years of imprisonment. She was still hungry and couldn't wait for breakfast to come. She flung herself onto the bed. It was so soft. And she was so tired. She fell asleep without changing into the black shirt Roan gave her. That night she had the best sleep of her life.
