School

Rosalie*

The voice that called Vi was her younger brother complaining about the T.V. not working.

"I told you a lot of times now, It's broken see" he pressed the remote a couple of times but the T.V. wasn't working.

"Maybe if you stop talking and think that maybe the remote has no batteries" she took the remote and checked if there was batteries.

"See, Matt there's no batteries now go and get some if you want to watch T.V." she said

The boy name Matt left mumbling words in another language or something.

"What did he said?" I asked

"Oh, he said 'I hate you' in Italian" she said

"He speaks Italian?' 

"Yup, he learned it when we went to Rome. Damn! I totally forgot it, I'm an idiot"

"What did you forgot?" I said looking at her all going into circles.

"I forgot to show you the neighborhood, is it okay if we do it now." 

"Sure" she grabbed my hand and started showing me around the neighborhood. We went to the park, the clubhouse and her secret (it wasn't really that secret) hang out place. We hang out for a while and started talking about teen stuff.

I got a text from mom telling me to go home 'cause she needs to tell me about something. So I stood up said my goodbyes to Vi and left.

I walked towards my house until I stopped because I saw a glimpse of a guy wearing a leather jacket, punkish kind of clothes and hair raven black. I have never ever saw a guy wearing anything like that. I tried to walk again but failed so I stared (creepily) at him for a while. Then I walked away.

When I got home, my mom was reading a book about teenage hormones so she can understand me but she can never. She was reading so I didn't want to bother her. I just headed to my room and texted Vi about the guy I saw. Our conversation went on like this:

Rosalie: OMG Vi, I saw this guy at the park. He looks so hot.

Olivia: Really! what does he look like.

Rosalie: He wore this punkish clothes and his hair was black like REALLY black.

Olivia: Did you saw his eye color?

Rosalie: No actually I don't know I saw something like red that must be the eye color.

Olivia: OMG girl, that's Daniel Miles don't go near him his the meanest punk ever! Got that.

Rosalie: Um okay I guess, why?

Olivia: Trust me you don't want to be involved in his life.

Rosalie: Okay, my mom's calling me BRB.

I went downstairs since that my mom was calling me. She was holding some textbooks which I strongly suspect are mine. I asked her if they were mine. She nodded and told me tomorrow you'll go to a new school near the village so prepare for it. I carried the textbooks up to my room and put them in my school bag. I texted Vi and told her about the school I'm transferring. She texted me back and said she went to that school and that we might be classmates. I texted that I was tired which wasn't true it wasn't near my bed time and I haven't eaten anything yet. I went downstairs and ate my dinner. After that I took a bath and slept.

I woke up early since I needed to go to school early. I ate breakfast, took a shower and left with my mom. She drove me to this new school I'm going to. I gave mom a kiss and told her that I'll text her to pick me up later. I went outside the car and the first person I saw was Vi running to me.

"Rose! Hi" she said 

"Hi Vi let's go to the classroom." We walked towards the school. We walked towards the locker which was beside Vi's.It was homeroom so I went there and I introduced myself to everyone. my next class was English so I went to my locker and took my English book and walked to that room. Vi's next class was History so she went to that class.

I went inside the room and everyone was playing. I didn't know where I could sit so I just waited outside for the teacher went to the class. A girl went to the classroom. She looked like the teacher so I asked her if she was she told me yes. I told her I was a transfer. She took me inside and told everyone a good morning with an English accent. She told me to introduce myself so I did.

"Good morning. My name is Rosalie Thomas and I just transfered from New York." I smiled

"Ms. Rosalie please sit down to the available seat and by the way, I'm Mrs. Grace Andrews" Mrs. Andrews motioned me to sit at the seat which was beside a boy with raven black like hair. Then I noticed his clothes were like what I saw yesterday at the park. 'Oh shit, it's Daniel Miles' I thought. I sat down beside him. He looked over at me. My body stiffened when he looked at me. I tried to stare back at him when I did he smirked then looked away. I started to relax. I looked at Mrs. Andrews and listened to the discussion.

After English class I headed to my locker and saw Vi there getting her books. I ran to her.

"Vi. Vi. Vi." I said

"What. What. What" she looked at me worried

"I saw "him" a while ago"

"Who's "him"?"

I leaned over to her ear and started to whisper. "Daniel Miles from yesterday".

"What, no way." she looked at me in disbelief.

"It's real and I sat beside him" I said then the bell rang.

"Bye Rose see you at the break later" she took her book then left.

"Bye Vi" I took my book then went to my next class which was Science.

I went to that room and I saw him again.

I stepped inside the room and sat on the available seat which was beside Daniel. 'This is going to be a long day' I thought to myself then class started.
