Chapter Two:

When we arrived back on Olympus we all started to talk about Percy. "I swear he loved Artemis' present the best." Aphrodite wined. Everyone looked at her and I flushed gold. "Perseus is loyal I'm sure he liked all of ours." I spoke. She glared at me. "You know your the only one allowed to call him Perseus." she spoke. "So, he's probably given up telling me to stop." I spoke, blushing despite the voice in my head. "You know it's true."
"I've noticed that too." Spoke Athena not really helping the situation. "So?" I spoke. "So it's clear that he has a crush on you."
My brain went in overload "Oh my gods, I hope that's true"
"No he doesn't." I spoke, as the others began to mumble stuff and walk away...Aphrodite walking closer. "Yes he does but in all honesty I don't know why."
"Whats that supposed to mean?!" I snapped. "It means I can't see why because your ugly and no one will ever love you but I guess that's why you got the maiden oath isn't it? I guess you realised how ugly you actually are. You don't have beauty like me nor do you have brains like Athena, so you my dear are going to die alone." she whispered, and the more she spoke, the more my heart shattered at the truth.

I blinked away tears and flashed down to camp. Everyone stared at me as I landed in the pavilion, with tears streaming down my face. My hunters ran forwards and in a blurry haze I saw Percy stand up.
"Lady Artemis what is wrong?" Thalia spoke. Percy bent down, "do you want to talk about?" I nodded and he slowly lifted me up and we walked away.

When we reached a cliff inside the woods near a cliff, I sat down him besides me, but the hunters followed. "Can you hold your breath underwater?" I nodded and he helped me up before we dived into the freezing water below. An air bubble came around our heads.

"What happened?" he spoke.
I sighed "do you think I'm pretty and clever?" I spoke. "Yes." he replied back without hesitation. "Oh my gods Aphrodite got to you didn't she?!" I nodded. "Lady Artemis ignore her, she thinks because the she has beauty she has brains, but she doesn't..." he hesitated "but you are blessed with both, so whatever she said is not true." he spoke. I smiled and hugged him. "Thank you Perseus." he hugged me back. "Your welcome." I smiled and drew away before I saw a shark. I drew closer to Percy and he smiled before he spoke to the shark. The shark bowed and disappeared, before Percy turned to me. He smiled and I moved my hair as it swam in front of my face.
He smiled and then he slowly grabbed my hand. "Let me show you something." I nodded and slowly he entwined his fingers with mine and swam back. When we got there I saw a huge pirate ship. "The jewels are huge, literally but there's something else." with that he let go and swam down me following behind. It was then he held up this huge trunk and as I opened it I found jewels, money and a crown. I placed it on my head but it slipped down. I heard him chuckle and felt him place it up. "When did you find this?" I spoke. "The first time I came to camp and people were bitching about me, being the lightning thief." he spoke. I smiled and the crown tipped down again. He lifted it up once more, "You look like a child." I chuckled. "I always had thing for crowns, when I was little I tried on dad's, I don't think he laughed so hard when it slipped down my head." he smiled and slowly took it off.
I smiled and he showed me more. At one point I saw him save a shark that was trapped under something, slowly he grabbed my hand and placed it to the shark, I smiled and began to stroke it, and out of the corner of my eye I saw Percy smile.

When done I laughed and smiled more before I slowly followed Percy. "This bits the best." I frowned and it and the nocturnal fish that glow, came out. I giggled and swam around. "They're so pretty." he smiled and whispered to the fish he slowly swam around him, he grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. I smiled as we watched the fish and slowly as I turned to Percy, his breath tickled my face but a smile was still on his lips, slowly he turned away as the dolphins came. I saw him laugh and a smile graced my lips till he came back to me. We stayed there staring into each other's eyes unsure what to do. Slowly a dolphin nudged me from behind causing me to be in Percy's arms. Slowly he placed a hand under my chin and slowly he leant forwards. The next thing I knew his lips were on mine. I smiled into it and he pulled me closer running his tongue across my bottom lip. My lips opened and our tongues battled for dominance. My arms wrapped around his neck and my fingers tangled in his hair.

His arms were around my waist but I still felt him pull me closer. When we drew away, he apologised. "I'm sorry your maiden and I shouldn't." I smiled weakly. "Father took my maiden oath so it's all okay." I spoke. He smiled, "so you wouldn't mind if I kissed you again?" I blushed gold but spoke. "I wouldn't mind." he smiled and pressed his lips to mine.

The first kiss was gentle and longing but this kiss was a little more passionate and hungry. The one that made the butterflies dance in my stomach.
When we drew away I was left with a tingling sensation on my lips.
"Do you still believe Aphrodite's words?" he spoke, but as I thought of the kisses I began to realise she was jealous. "No." I spoke before we kissed one last time.
