• It had so much potential and even though it feel flat in a lot of areas, it's one of my favorite shows.

Also, side note for anyone who's watched the show or plans to and doesn't mind spoliers...
The guardians, mainly Brandon and Patrick, are so interesting. We get Owen/Sam's backstory but the other six or whatever guardians are mysteries. Like, we're told they're these mindless killing machines but like we see with Owen and Dana, they aren't. We also get these little things that Patrick and Brandon (the London guardian) do. Brandon's lines to Owen "You're gonna die for no reason" shows that he honestly didn't wanna kill Owen if he didn't have to. It shows empathy, something guardians aren't supposed to have. And they (or WDV) gave Patrick a personality! After Percy is shot, Patrick is caring for him and he's putting heart into it, he's gentle when helping Percy out of the car and checks on him like Percy is a friend. Idk, it just annoys me that Owen (I guess Dana too) are the only guardians to get a backstory. That could be a cool mini series for me, give the remaining guardians a backstory. Once again, idk.
