The Twins (Watty's 2017)

Chapter 4; The Problem

"Lex, you went absolutely nuts! What happened?" Kane asked his brother.

"I don't know." Lex replied to his brother.

"Well I know it wasn't just the cast iron that made you mad!" Kane yelled, half jokingly.

"Look, I don't know what happened, but what I do know is that I just killed three innocent people. The most we can do is hide it because we don't want Xavier to find out. He's already hunting us!" Lex scolded his brother.

"You've got a point." Kane replied. "Fine, let's clean this up."

After about one hour went by they had buried the man and one of the girls woke up. Lex and Kane stood and stared at this girl, watching her prop herself against the wall. In awe they walked up to her.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" Lex asked her as he rushed to her.

"Lex, calm down, let me?" Kane asked as Lex slowly shrunk away.

Kane lifted his arm around the girls shoulders, stroking her arm. She moved her hand away from her side and nuzzled into him, crying. She had exposed a bite on her side which had to of been from Lex. That meant that she was gonna take her first turn within the hour. She'd heal but the bite would hurt until she turned. 

Kane looked up at Lex, "You bit her!" Kane yelled, pushing the thought to Lex's mind.

"To be fair, I bit everyone. It's not my fault!" Lex argued.

"What's your name?" Kane asked the girl. 

She looked up, clearly sobbing from the pain, "The wolf just attacked us. M-my dad is dead."

"It's okay, sweetie, just tell me your name." Kane pleaded.

"My name is Maria." She answered, still crying. 

"Well, Maria, we're going to try to help anyway we can, okay?" Kane reassured her. "In a few minutes you're body is going to do something that will hurt extremely so."

Maria screamed at the twins knew it had started.
