My Mate

Chapter 8

Sasuke POV
After Sakura left yesterday I went to survey the area with area. While scanning I spotted a rogue. Not those who formed their pack here but one who lost all sense of being. It's eye were a dull red. What had me worried was it's catch. A young child not looking older than ten. When it saw me it ran off.
I didn't waste time chasing it, I ran home and informed my father then ran through the woods to Sakura's dorm. Quickly scanning her windows I saw the balcony open and the blonde girl, Ino came out. I shifted back and put on a pair of sweats I carried and came out of the treeline.

"Uchiha? What are you doing here?"
"Warn all werewolves you know."
"Why say werewolves."
"I saw a wolf no longer a were. It's catch was a young boy already dead when I saw him."
"And?"
"Protect my mate. ........... Please."
"She has an exam tomorrow."
"Protect your luna. Warn everyone."

After talking I went back into the woods. After five minutes of walking I ran into Kiba.

"Alfa."
"Your mate will give you information. Watch your luna."
"Yes alfa."

As I walked back to the beach house I started wondering what caused them to come and why did it bring it. Trying to figure it out I continued walking till I came across another one ready to jump on a lady with three kids. I quickly took off my sweats and shifted lunging at the dull eyed rogue.
I took a protective stance in front of them and jumped on him. Sinking my canines into it's neck I snapped down and pulled out. Once done I went to the family. I nudged the mother and made her walk beside me the kids on my back. I picked up my sweats as we passed and continued til we reach the road. They children got down and they left.
I know I said I hate humans but with these rogues as a threat I have to save them. I went back into the forest and ran back home. In the morning I got up and my wolf was going crazy. I blocked him out and went to the kitchen and kiss mom on her cheek while grabbing the sugar in the top cupboard for her. She smiled and went back to cooking lunch.
I grabbed an orange and peeled it then went outside to walk the shore. As I continued to walk William pushed through the block and started ranting. I sighed and waited for him to shut up.

'What is it Will?'
'Mate. Mate's in trouble. Rogues. Go to mate!'

I took off shifting since there will be a lot of rogues in wolf form. Quickly mindlinking my father of the situation I ran faster ripping apart any dull eyed rogue that came near me. By the time I arrived at the University I heard screams coming from there. I quickly ran through the doors following her scent passing cowering humans and teachers fighting in their wolf form. I ran into the class where at least 20 students were cornered as Kiba stood in front of them growing at the trespassers.

I jumped at one and snapped his bone then another one soon more wolves came to help and we got rid of the rogues. I went up to the group of humans and pushed through to see my mate. When I saw her she had a broken arm and was unconscious. I nudged Ino and she got on my back with her.
I ran out the shcool through the woods and kept running towards the beach. Once by the house I scratched lightly on the door. Dad opened and took Sakura with Ino following him in and closing the door. I ran back to the university and started fighting off rogues. A hours later it was now 4pm when they retreated and I returned home.
Entering the territory Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba, Temari and Ino came up to me in wolf form bowing. I nodded and and went inside. I took a shower and went to check on mate. She was still unconscious. I stayed with her till father called for a meeting. I sighed and took her with me.

"We have to return to the pack."
"Yes sir."
"What time did you reach here Shikamaru?"
"I arrived during the battle and found her."
"Kiba go with your mate and pack her stuff and your Luna's stuff. Shikamaru go help your mate pack. Same for you Naruto. Sasuke pack your stuff and Naruto's. We're leaving tonight."

We all went to do what was told. After 5 hours everything was packed and we were heading to to airport. Sakura was still unconscious so I carried her. As we boarded dad's private plain I went in a room and put her down. There were 2 bunk beds and a twin bed. I took a bottom bunk and cuddled with her.
I caressed her cheek, passed my fingers through her hair, gave her light kisses on her face and whispered to her she'd be alright and wake up. And I'd be there waiting. She snuggled closer to me as the system A.C was turned on. I pulled the sheets over us and pulled her closer inhaling her scent. With that I slowly drifted to sleep not before giving her a kiss.
