Chapter 6

I woke up this morning throwing up. I think I ate too much yesterday. I felt like i was about to die so I called my bitch up to come take care of me. "Hello." she answer. "I don't feel too good boo come take care of me please." I said with a sick voice. "Okay on my way." "Okay can you bring me a 7up please." "Will do sweety" "Okay just use the key I gave you." Taz was the only one who had a key to my house since I changed the locks. "Okay be there in 10." "Okay thanks boo." I went and laid in the bed. I was half asleep when Nick text me. I didn't reply back because Im done with him. I hear my door open and close. "Im home." Taz yelled. "In here." I yelled. She walked in the room with me. "Awww boo you don't look too well." She said in a pouty voice. "I know I been throwing up all morning." I said. "Ooooooh you don't think do you?" She said. "Girl no I haven't did that in a long time. "So......when you suppose to come on." She asked. "Ummm I was suppose to came on yesterday but sometimes I be a day or two late." I explained. "Late my ass I think you pregnant." She said. "So if you are is it Nick's or Rico's?" She asked. "I haven't had sex with Rico yet." I said. "Holy shit Red are you serious?" she asked. "Nigga im not pregnant so stop saying that ass." I said getting mad. I ran in the bathroom and threw up again. "Boo just face it you might be pregnant." She said. I started crying this mean i have to deal with Nick dumbass for eighteen years. Why the fuck was I so careless? Why didn't I make him use a condom? "I know I just don't want to deal with Nick stupid ass for eighteen years." i said in a pouty voice. "Lol you should have made him use a Latex now he got to get a im LATE TEXT. You get it. LOL KML. I crack myself up." she said. "Shut the hell up I can't stand you." I said getting irritated. "But forreal you need to get up and go get you a pregnacy test." She said with a serious face. I knew it in my heart that I might be pregnant I just didn't want it to be real. I brushed my teeth and washed faced, then went to put on some shorts and a pink tanktop then put on my pink Chuck Taylor's. I put my hair in a neat pony tail, then we headed out the door. We got in my car and went to the nearest store. Ten minutes later we arrived at the store and walked in. I went to find the pregnacy test. I picked up three different pregnacy test to be sure. We quickly made our purchase. "Do you want to get something to eat?" I asked Taz. "Girl you know im all up for it." She replied. "I think I want chicken. What about you?" "It dont matter to me." She answered. We drove to nearest resturant and I ordered our food. We arrive at my house twenty minutes later. After i finished my food i immediately urinated in a cup and used the dropper to take the test. Thirty minutes later, two of the test results was positive and the other was negative. "Dang I dont know which one to go by." I said to Taz. "I dont know either maybe you need to go to the clinic, just to be sure." She said. "Yeah i'll go soon." I said. How am i going to tell Nick if I am pregnant? Will he be able to take care of his responsibilities? Im just scared he going to leave me to take care of our child by myself so he can go out and hoe around. "Well Im about to go over to Jamal's house. I will call later and check up on you, okay." she said. "Okay." I said. Taz left and I immediately called Nick to tell him the possibility of me being pregnant. "Hello." Nick answered in an annoyed voice. "Hey do you have time we need to talk." I said in a demanding voice. "Red, what do you want." he said. "Ummm i might be pregnant." I said. "Oh okay. Who's the baby dad." "What the hell you mean by that you know you are." "Yeah not too sure about that. Red, stop calling my phone with that stupid shit Bye." He said and hung up before I could even reply. Why do he think im lieing? What the hell is wrong with him. I can't deal with this shit. I hope I just have food poisoning and those tests were inaccurate. My phone started vibrating and it was Rico calling me. "Hey babe." I said with an innocent voice. "What are you doing babe." He asked. "At home laying in the bed not feeling very well today." "Awww babe do you want me to come take care of you?" "Yes please you know noone can take care of me like my babe." I said in a pouty voice. "Okay be there in a few babe, Love you." I was so shocked when he said I love you. "I love you too." I said. We hung up the phone. How in the hell am i going to tell Rico that I might be pregnant by Nick. Ugh something always have to happen. Damn how could I be so fucking stupid. I knew better than this. My thought was quickly interrupted when i heard Rico walk through the door. He used spear key under my mat by the door. He walked into my room. "Hey babe." he said. "Hey." "How are you feeling." he said touching my forehead. God his hands felt good on my face. "Not to well." "I can tell you burning up." he said with concern. "Babe sit down I have to tell you something." "Okay." he said. When I was about to explain to him his phone rang. "This is a weird number." He mumbled to himself. He put the phone on speaker "Hello!" He answered with bass in his voice. "Hello is this Ricardo Rodriguez?" A stern female voice asked. "Yes this is he." He answered. "Hi this is officer Yales. Im sorry to tell you, but your house has been set on fire." she said. "What the fuck! When? How? I just left my damn house an hour ago. This is a mistake ma'am." he said with a scared look on his face. "Sir your residence is 633 Philasky St. Right." she said "Im on my way." He said hanging up before she could reply. "Im coming with you." I said. "No you're not you are too sick." "Whatever, Im coming with you and that's final, now lets go." I said with a soft voice. We walked outside he handed me the keys to his car because he was too upset to drive. The ride there was silent until he got a call. He put it on speaker. "AYE MAN YOU NEED TO GET TO YOUR HOUSE ASAP!!!!" Jamal yelled into the phone. "I know man, I talked to the police already, were on our way." Rico said without any emotion. "Okay we out here talking to the policeman." he said. "Alright man." Rico said sounding even more sad. We arrived at his residence ten minutes later. His house was really big. Omg who in the world would set a house this beautiful on fire? "Babe imma go up here and talk to the firemen and police by myself" he said. I understood and stayed where i was. I seen Taz and Jamal standing over there. Taz started walking towards me. She gave me a hug. "OMG he look hurt." she said. "Yeah I know the car ride was silent. I said. "So you gonna let him stay with you until he find something else?" she asked. "Yeah, we starting to get serious so why not." I said. "Well girl I will call you later to check on you." She said walking off. "Okay." He walked back over to me and I noticed his sad look change into an angry look. "They told me that the neighbors seen an unidentified person here. They couldn't give them a description, but I know there is someone out for me and it was done purposely." he said. "Its okay baby lets go home." I said. The drive back home was silent and emotionless. What the hell is going on?
