Lacey's pov
"Congratulations! You're pregnant!" Dr.Malec told us. I looked at Sam with wide eyes and he had the exact same expression as me. Shock. I don't know about Sam but I surely can't raise a kid. As rude as it sounds, I wouldn't want anyone to have a father like Sam, he couldn't even take care of his flour baby from Health Science 20 last year. Besides, I'm only seventeen years old and have my whole life ahead of me.
Just the thought of being pregnant made me go light headed. I looked up at Dr.Malec with worry written all over my face.
"Doc, I'm starting to feel a little dizzy." I said losing my balance and falling back. My thought, my eyesight, everything went blurry and my eyes slowly shut.
Once I had the strength to open my eyes, I looked up and I wasn't in the same place as I was before. I didn't t recognize my surroundings at all.
"W-Where am I?" I asked slowly pushing myself off of the bed. I was laying in a hospital bed with machines all around me.
"Woah woah, slow down." Sam said rushing over and lightly laying me back down.
"What happened?" I asked confused.
"You fainted and the doctors thought that I would be a good idea to monitor your pulse and everything." He explained to me.
"What time is it?" I grunted.
"Umm, two thirty." Sam said checking his wrist watch.
"Shit, we already missed the beginning of last period." I said putting my head in my hands.
"It's fine, I'll just drive you home." Sam said. I nodded and the nurse led us out of the office. We walked to his black car and we drove in silence to my house.
"Thanks for the ride Sam." I said trying to escape as quick as I could.
"No problem. And hey, you aren't in this alone Lacey." He said placing his hand on my leg before I could leave. I sent him a small smile and walked into my house. I shut the door and leaned my back against it. I squeezed my eyes shut and sat down in front of the door. I shook my head trying to wake myself up from this dream. This couldn't be happening to me.
"Why are you home so early?" My mom asked surprising me. I scrambled back to my feet like nothing happened.
"I'm not feeling very good so I was excused from class." I said trying to make it believable. She can't know where I really was, she would kill me.
"Oh okay, do you want me to make you some soup or something?" My mom offered.
"Sure, thanks mom." I said. She smiled and I left the room. When I entered my room I pulled off my school clothes and slid on a white tank top and grey sweats. I jumped into my bed with my laptop and pulled up google. I clicked the search bar and searched up 'how to be a teen mom'. As I was scrolling through the results, my mom walked in with a warm bowl of my favourite chicken noodle soup.
"Here you go sweetie." She said placing my tray and soup beside me.
"Thanks." I said not taking me eyes off of my laptop screen. I expected me mom to leave but instead, she sat beside me and watched what I was doing.
"Teen mom? Is there something I need to know?" She asked. I felt my face flush red.
"No mom, it's a school project. We are learning about STDs and teen pregnancy." I made it all up, but it sounded pretty real.
"Okay." She said not sounding fully convinced. As she left my room, she lightly shut the door behind her. I pushed my laptop aside and pulled the tray onto my lap. I carefully leaned over to grab my tv remote and turned Netflix on.
Sam's pov
After school was over, I drove up to the school and saw everyone pouring out of the front doors.
"Quinn!" I yelled at the blonde. Her head quickly turned towards me and she skipped over to my car.
"Hey Sammy! I missed you, where were you?" Quinn's squeaky voice said. She leaned forward and pecked my lips.
"I had stuff to do, get in." I said opening the passenger door for her. She looked at me confused.
"But Stacey and I were gonna go to the spa." She said pouting.
"Quinn, please just come with me. I missed you today and I need my Quinn time." I said trying to act as sincere as I could.
"Ugh fine, I sacrifice so much for our relationship." She said turning around and walking back to her friends. She waved them goodbye and got in my car. I drove us to my house and we walked up to my room.
I was going to tell her. I had to. It would be wrong of me not to. I took her hand and sat her on my bed.
"I see where this is going." Quinn said with a smirk. She placed her small hands on my shoulders and shoved me onto the bed. She quickly jumped on me and started kissing me. And kissing me. I couldn't get her to stop. She was really getting into it I had to stop her. I lifted my arms and pushed her off of me.
"What's wrong?" She asked me.
"I have to tell you something." I said. She frowned and climbed off of me.
"Fine, go on." She said trying not to sound offended. I sat up and took her hands into mine.
"I don't know how to say this so I'm just going to say it." I started off. She looked at me eager to hear what I had to say. "I can't do this anymore."
She looked at me trying to figure out what I meant by that.
"Wait, what? You're breaking up with me? Are you serious?" She said on the verge of crying.
"I'm sorry Quinn, I've just lost feelings for you." I said trying to break it to her easily.
"Is this because of that Lacey girl?" She asked furious. I didn't know how to answer her.
I didn't want to lie to her, but I don't want Lacey to get hurt either. I sat there quietly not answering her.
"Oh it is! Fine then. Just know that you'll never get all of this back. Ever!" She said gesturing to herself and she stormed out of my room. I laid back on my bed letting a tear slip out of my eye.
