Making the potion was hard. Very hard. The ingredients were very hard to find. Amber needed a dragons scale, a goblin's tooth, a werewolf's hair, and the soul of someone with true intentions. The problem was you cant just ask someone for their soul, tooth, hair, or their pet's scale. Its just an awkward conversation, but Amber had to do it. She can't let her friends be controlled by Jake. The mystery that still went through Amber's mind was 'How does Jake have magic?'.
After many awkward conversations and some negotiating Amber got all of the ingredients. Amber put all of the ingridients in her cauldron and mixed them all she was missing was the soul of someone with true intentions, which Amber decided would be herself. She would give the potion to her friends say the incantation and when she defeats Jake she will take her life to complete the spell setting her friends free completely.
Amber didnt even realize that she was crying. At least she would be able to tell them goodbye, but just in case she would write each of them a letter saying goodbye. She knew they will be hurt that she did it because they got sucked into Jake's Spell, but she can't let them stay under his control. She loves them too much.
With the potion ready Amber set off to save her friends, no her family from the evil clutches of Jake.
