Kelly is the leader of a salmon run squad. Her friends James, Yuki, and Maria were the other members. They (James, Kelly, and Marina. Yuki has been one of Kelly's friends since she started turf war for the first time.) met during a ranked battle when Kelly found James and Maria crying because they lost the lead. Even though Kelly was on the other team, she still felt very bad for them.
"Oh it's not fair! We worked for that lead! WORKED!"
"I know... It's terrible! And I was about to get to S rank!" *cries*
Kelly finds them crying, instead of trying to reclaim their lead, which confused her.
"Hey!"
Kelly waved to the two inklings.
"What do YOU want? You were the splattershot who cost us that lead!"
"James, it's ok. I'm not here to splat you."
James decides to be a bitch and throws a bomb at Kelly.
"YAHOO! WE'RE GETTING A KNOCKOUT! WOOHOO!" One of Kelly's teammates yelled, making James and Maria try and jump off the edge of the map.
"Whoop! Watch where you're going!"
Kelly catches them.
"It's the other team! Help!"
"Maria! It's ok, I'm not here to hurt you. Not you either, James. I'm here because I felt bad that you were so upset that my team had took the lead from you. I understand how it feels." Kelly looked at them, dropping her splattershot off the edge. "I know. I was too good for the both of you."
"BRAGGER!" Maria yelled.
"Shut UP, Marina!" James complained.
Kelly asks them if they want to join her and her friend, Yuki for a game of Salmon Run. They both agree to it.
