Ayla Robins. 17. She lives an average life. Well, almost average. Her adoptive parents hated her, so she got emancipated at 16. She has been living alone since then, juggling school, her part-time job, and soccer. Her best friends, Jaycee and Nick, are the only people who are there for Ayla.
