Chapter 8: Stolen Dance
I fought the urge to stare into Aux's eyes once more because I'm afraid that I might drown again within his fascinating stares. But he did the contrary. He fixed his gaze to me and I suddenly felt awkward with our closeness so I carefully took a step backward.
"Ha?" I managed to mumble. Napansin ko ang ngising napinta sa mukha niya bago muling magsalita.
"Stupid git. I said, sinusundo kita," he blandly said and grabbed my hand to drag me away from the girls' dormitory. Doon lang ako nahimasmasan at bumalik sa dati kong sarili kaya bago pa man kami makalayo, malakas nang dumapo ang kamao ko sa mukha niya. And yes, please include that I did it with this dress I'm wearing.
"What the hell was that for?!" he groaned while holding his jaw.
"That's for calling me stupid!" I exclaimed.
He laughed, a mocking laugh. "That's a f*cking lame reason to punch my perfect face, stupid." Idiniin pa niyang muli ang salitang 'stupid' na parang nananadya. I snorted because of annoyance. Nakakainis! I'm losing my control now for a damn senseless reason and I don't know why!
Iniangat kong muli ang kamao ko para sana'y dumapo muli 'yon sa mukha niya. But I was caught off-guard when he pulled my arm, causing myself to crash to his broad chest. Sinubukan kong lumayo at gumawa ng distansya pero masyado siyang malakas, and I f-ing hate this rumbling heartbeat inside my chest!
"Let go of me!" I roared.
And to my amazement, he even lifted my chin up just to see how close we are right now that the distance between our faces won't go higher than an inch anymore.
"Not until you calm down," he coldly stated that sent shivers to my spine. Strangely, both of us didn't leave each other's stares. And as if on cue, all the rage inside me started melting.
"Woah! May milagro na bang nagaganap dito?"
"Akala ko ba susunduin mo lang si Layra?!"
"Tangina nagseselos naman ako Baby Aux!"
Mabilis akong binitawan ni Aux dahil sa biglaang pagdating nina Thalia, Heather at Vion. I probably look agitated, but I chose to shrug it off and replaced it with a blank face.
"Mga gago. Nagta-tantrums kasi 'yan, nababaliw na ata," Aux reasoned out and glared at me.
"Jerk!" I shouted at him and crossed my arms.
"Woah, Layra! Ang ganda mo pala ngayon ah!" bulalas ni Vion saka ako pinagmasdan mula ulo hanggang paa.
"Screw you. Go to hell," I said in exasperation. Wala akong planong makipag-utuan sa kanya ngayon.
"Di ako papapasukin sa impyerno 'no. Bawal pogi d'on e."
"Sandali nga, bakit ba kasi nandito ka pa? Kanina pa start ang party ah?" Thalia suddenly queried that made everyone wait for my answer.
"Walangya kasi 'yong kaibigan niyo. Susunduin raw ako tapos biglang babawiin kasi may emergency raw," I bluntly told them and rolled my eyes.
"Si Ford?" I nodded.
"Si Ford naman ngayon?! Tangina, pinagseselos niyo ba talaga ako--Aray naman!" nakakalokong reklamo ni Vion kaya agad siyang binatukan ni Aux.
