I check my schedule for today to see that I have Math.
Great.
My first class on a Monday is Math.
Huzzah.
Note the sarcasm.

I feel a pair of arms slip around my waist. I turn around swiftly.

"What are you doing!" I whisper.

He leans in towards my ear.

"The show begins."

Oh yeah. That.

"Right ok."

He leans out and kisses my cheek.
Leaving me totally speechless I grin. He smirks back. Noticing the effect on me.

"What class you got babe?"

"Math" I say nonchalantly, turning around back to my locker to get my stuff.

He takes the books from my hand.

"What are you doing?"

"Being the best boyfriend of all the boyfriends."

"I'm pretty sure I can carry my books."

"And I'm pretty sure I won't let you."

Not wanting to oust him further, I let him carry my books.

I receive a lot of states on my way to class. Girls hissing at me whispering insults or pities to their friends. Guys staring at Asher wanting to be his friend. And some gay guys staring at me wishing they were in my place.

When we get to Math he walks in with me.

"What are you doing?"

"I have this class."

"You do?"

"Guess I skip too much" he shrugs and walks me to my desk, sitting down in the one next to mine.

"Mr Likan, you are not in this class." Mrs. Jagsfor says bluntly.

"Yes I am."

"No you are not."

"Check for class sheet then." He smirks at her and squeezes my hand.

She goes about halfway down the sheet until she gets to his name.

"Huh, guess you are then. Pay attention." She says before starting class.

"He asked you out?" She basically screamed.

"Shush! Yes he did. Why are you so excited about this?"

"Maybe you can change him?"

Yeah, 100% not likely.

"I don't know maybe?"

"I believe in you."

"Thanks Bridge"

"No problem, Special K"

Cue the awkward silence.

"Why do you call m-" I get cut off by her stupid stomach rumbling.

"Well in starving lets go eat" she says before speed walking to the lunch room.

While waiting in like I forgot that if I didn't sit with Asher, people would notice what's up. But what if I did go and I wasn't accepted at the table? I decided to take a chance.

"Hey Bri, In going to sit at Asher's table today. You wanna come?"
I really hope she comes.

"Ah yes! Who are you asking."

When I near the table. Ash looks up and sees me. He walks around the table and when I think he is gonna reject me and send me to my past table, he hugs me.

"Hey babe."

"Hi Ash" I gush.

"Hey since you are now my girlfriend, I want you to eat with me, ok?

"Sure! Can Bride sit with us too?"

He looks at her and smiles.

"Of course. She is your best friend."

She smiles and walks over. Taking a seat next to Aiden. He turns around, winks at her and begins to flirt with her. Unlike the other two guys. Aiden doesn't toy with girls. He actually dates them so I'm not really worried about this, thing, going on right now.

"Thanks babe."

He takes me by the arm and drags me to where he is sitting.

"Guys" he coughed. Everyone at the table turned to look at him.

"This is Kacey. She is my girlfriend and I want you guys to be nice to her."

Everyone seemed pretty cool about it. A lot of them smiled and said hey. Then returned to their conversations. Asher turned to Cyrus and stared to talk so I turned to the girl on my right.

"Hi, I'm Kacey"

She looked up from her phone and smiled.

"Hey! I'm Rune!" Rune had the most beautiful dark brown hair and her eyes were the most stunning color of emerald green.

"Nice to meet you Rune! So I'm new here. Care to give me the run down of the group?"

"Sure, well Asher is mostly the head, everyone sorta follows him but he makes everything fair. Cyrus and Aiden are his best buds for as long as I can remember. Jacquelyn is the prankster. Charlie is the sweetheart. Selena is the matchmaker and Charlie's girlfriend. Kira is sort of a bitch but if you two are chill, she is cool. And finally me! The greatest person you will ever meet!" She finishes and takes a deep breath.

"Nice to know."

"Yeah, it's best to know before you go in. While we are a really loose group and have a lot of fun. We take care of eachother. Offend one of us, you get the whole group. We are sorta a family." She smiles while she says this.

"That's really nice. Bridgette has really been my only friend for a while so it's really nice to meet some more people. While I love her so much. It's just nice to have more friends that live eachother."

"Yeah I see where you are coming from. And I recon you will fit in just nicely here!" As soon as she says this her phone starts ringing.

"Hey I gotta take this, I'll talk to you later?"

"For sure! Bye Rune."

"Nice meeting you Kacey."

Asher turns around.
"So I see you have met Rune?"

"Yeah, she is really nice and funny. Not to mention extremely beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you." He had a look of truth in his eyes. But I couldn't tell if he was actually telling me the truth or if it was good acting.
