FATHIMA POV

"Sean why you so goofy?" I laugh at his joke about Precious on TV.

"I'm saying she should've ran then ate the chicken she to big to be doing both." He shrugged.

"Anyways guess what I did yesterday." I smile.

"I don't know break up with Brian." I punch his arm.

"Why would you say that?" He just mugged me.

"You mad because I hit you big baby?" I tried to kiss his cheek but he pushed me away.

"It ain't about that."

"Then what is it about Sean."

"Nothing."

"No tell me."

"Nothing, tell me what you need to tell me."

"No, not until you tell me first. Come on tell meee." I said tugging at his shirt.

"I don't want you to be with him!" He yelled looking away.

"What? Why not?" I move over to where he's facing.

"because!"

"Because what that not an answer!" I yell back.

"I like you more than a friend Fathima that's why!" I just stare at him.

I get my things and walk out I cant deal with this right now. When I get in a relationship he wants me. He tried before but I wasn't ready he never tried again though.

"Girl yes he told me he likes me more than just bestfriends." I said talking to Mariah and Shay.

"What did you say?" Shay asks.

"Nothing I just left, I didn't know what to say or how to feel."

"Well do you like him on that level at all?" Mariah asks.

"I'm with Brian and our relationship is getting steady. Sean is my best friend and thats the way I see him." I said looking down.

Mariah raises her eyebrow.

"So you've never had other feelings for him?"

"In the past before I met Brian we would flirt, but I never told him I liked him." I confess.

"Let him know but also that it was before Brian and your feelings aren't the same anymore." Shay suggest.

"Yeah what Shay said." Mariah chimes in.

"I guess ya'll are right but what if this changes our friendship?"

"Ya'll bond is tight it shouldn't ruin it unless ya'll let it." Mariah said.

I sigh, "I'll talk to him about it."

"Anyways tell us how you and your trip to your dads went." Shay said.

"My mom and Brian went with me and let me tell ya'll she brings up Georgia state and ya'll know Brian wants to go to Arizona."

"Oh girl how he take it?" Mariah asks.

"He looked at me weird and he didn't say to much because my mom was in the car."

"Did he bring it up again?" Shay asks.

"Yeah that night on the phone but I quickly changed the subject."

"Oh, but continue." She said.

"When we got there I break down and my dad held me until I stopped crying."

"Big baby." Mariah said.
