When I was little love only happened in fairy tales I would read late at night.
But then I saw everyone around me fall into it.
The way they looked at each other almost as if they were they were the only people in the world.
Then, I watched her fall in love and I knew it was real.
I watched him fall in love and get his heart torn apart.
Maybe love isn't real.
But the way you look at her, I can tell love is real there.
The way she looked at her boyfriend, it was real.
The way he treated his lady like she was the only girl he ever has and ever will love.
But then, all three of their hearts got ripped out of their chest. Jumped on, tossed around, broken.
Maybe, love is only real for a little while.
But maybe, in some cases, it can last as long as your life lasts.
But never forever.
In my case its never forever.
It is simply non-existent.....
