I didn't like my writing style so I am changing it up. I hope you guys like this better!Finn's POV
As I looked at Millie from across the room, I couldn't help but admire how amazing she was. As she sat at a table in the school trailer, slightly bent over her work. I saw her playing with the ring on her finger. She always did that when she was focusing, nervous or bored. I guessed that this time it was because she was focusing. I watched as she worked and wondered how this girl wasn't famous. She was so talented and such a good person, not to mention beautiful. Since we didn't have any scenes to shoot today because the adults were shooting, she was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, yet still looked like perfection. I looked at her buzzed hair and thought about how brave and dedicated she was to get it shaved. Although I personally thought that she looked fine either way, she was self conscious about it when she went in public. Since nobody knew about our show, she would talk about how everyone thought that she was a freak. I thought she was beautiful. I saw her get frustrated at her work and slam her hands on the desk, making the floor shake. She let out a a low sigh as her light brown eyes that you could get lost in crinkled with annoyance. She closed her eyes and ran her hands through her barely-there hair. She opened her eyes and looked around the room. As her eyes settled on me I felt a jolt of fear, quickly looked away and pretend that I was very interested in the sleeve of my sweatshirt as I felt my face heat up.
Millie's POV
When I looked over at Finn to ask him for help, I saw that he was already looking at me. As soon as my eyes met his, he looked away. Did the eyes that I felt on me this whole time belong to the one and only Finn Wolfhard? Could he possibly have feelings for me? No. You can't think like that Millie, you're just costars. This is your work, and although you need to have fun, you also need to focus. You can't be distracted by silly crushes. I jolted slightly. What did my inner voice just say? CRUSHES? I didn't have a crush on Finn. That was crazy. I mean, he was cute and all, but he was just a cast mate.
I turned back to my work and sighed. I did not understand this math. How the heck was I supposed to know what x was? Letters should not be in math problems. "Finn?" I asked, turning to him. "Yeah?" He replied, snapping his head up. "Um. I was wondering... Do you know how to do algebra?" "Yeah, I do. I could help you if you want." He asked, sounding hopeful. "That's what I was just about to ask" I giggled.
He walked over and sat down a little too far away from me, so I scooted my chair over a little so that I could see what he was doing. He perfectly described how to isolate the variable, do reverse operations, and the other aspects of algebra. My work was done in no time and we had time to hang out with the rest of the kids for the rest of the day
