You had both came up with your brilliant idea to blow Black Hat away.(not literally, of course) The invisibility cloak!
With your brainstorming out of the way, you two switched between working on the cloak and working on the plane to get twice as much work done.
While working on the plane, you looked outside through a window. The sun was setting. "Dr. Flug!" You said. "It's already sunset." He stopped his working to walk over to the window to look.
You both stared at the sunset. It was a very pretty sight, with a variety of pinks, purples, oranges, and blues painted across the sky.
The both of you stared at it for a bit, admiring its beauty. You rested your head on Dr. Flug's shoulder, almost falling asleep.
He noticed, seemingly snapping out of his dream-like trance. He looked at you. "...cute." He thought to himself.
After the sunset, you needed to find a place to sleep around here. "Hey, Dr. Flug?" You asked. "Where am I going to sleep?"
"Oh! Um..." Dr. Flug trailed off. "I don't know. I'll go ask Black Hat." He said, leaving the room. You looked out the window again. There was no more sunset. Only night.
Dr. Flug returned a minute later with Black Hat. You looked at them both. "W-where am I going to sleep?" You asked Black Hat. He looked at the floor thinking for a bit. Then he looked back up at you.
"We've got no spare beds." He said. "You'll have to sleep with Flug." And with that, he left, not really seeming to care.
You and Flug looked at each other. Wow.
After you both got your PJs on, (in privacy, of course) Dr. Flug went to his room got in bed, leaving an open space for you. His blanket had little airplanes on it. How adorable!
You climbed into the bed, almost perfectly enough room for yourself. You were so tired from that day of work and the stress it brought that you fell asleep impressively within minutes.
You and Dr. Flug weren't facing each other, but he scootched closer to you so that your backs touched. He hugged a pillow and soon he was asleep, too.
