Now back to the book, (even though most of you have probably left) this is my first book I've ever written and I know I will appreciate all your kind (that is if there is any) and constructive comments.

Of course there will be hate but how about we turn this into a game?

If you manage to offend then I won't block your comment, I'll comment back basically notifying you that you've successfully offended me (let me tell you, it's a herculean effort). Although comments I know that will offend my readers (e.g. religion, sexuality etc.) will be blocked. No exception.

The meaning of the name Adalyn is: noble.

Adalyn Piaras definitely lives up to her name.

The name Derek comes from the Old English origin.

The meaning of the name Derek is: Free-born; ruler.

Derek Amalric definitely lives up to his name.

What is your worst fear?

Spiders?

Rejection?

Death?

Police Captain Adalyn has a fear of water, just being around swimming pools or being on a safe expensive ferry leaves her frozen in her place and unable to move.

When her coach, Commander Ronald Spencer assigns her a solo mission to determine if she'll become a Major, it is obvious failure is not an option.

Even if it is set on open water and her matches being 1 vs. 8.
