*Blair's POV*

Beep. Beep. Beep. I rolled over and quickly shut off my alarm clock.

I sighed, knowing that I had to get up and get ready for school. I pulled myself out of bed and made my way over to my bathroom.

I finished applying my makeup and got dressed before I ran downstairs to grab breakfast.

My mom was in the kitchen making pancakes and eggs.

"Hi mom" I said as I grabbed a plate and got some food. We had a causal conversation while I ate and once I was done, I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door after saying a quick goodbye to my mom.

I picked up my best friend, Serena, from her house and then drove to school.

After a long day at school, all I wanted to do was go home and sleep. But my parents had other plans..

"Blair!" My mom yelled up the stairs.

"What?!" I yelled back as I was trying to sleep.

"Come down here, your father and I want to talk to you." She said. I groaned as I got up and walked downstairs.

"Sit down honey" my mom said as I walked into the kitchen. Okay, what's going on...? I asked myself as I say down at the table.

"As you know, we are trying to figure out where to go for our summer vacation this year." My dad started. "Do you still want to go to California?" He asked.

I immediately sat up and nodded my head. "Yes yes yes oh my gosh" I said with a huge smile on my face, knowing where this was going.

"Well, if that's what you want then we will start planning it." My mom said smiling at me. I jumped up and screamed, running over to my parents giving them both big hugs.
After thanking them I ran upstairs to text Serena.

"SERENA. IM GOING TO CALIFORNIA FOR THE ENTIRE SUMMER" I texted her and then I stared at my phone waiting for a reply.

Luckily she responded quickly, "OMG BLAIR IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. YOU FINALLY GET TO GO TO HUNTINGTON BEACH".

I smiled at myself, knowing that I was finally going to get the chance to meet Taylor Gione and Ashleigh Stout, who I had recently become really good friends with both of
them over social media.

My dream was finally coming true.
