Summer Doesn't Last Forever (A Keaton Stromberg Story)

Chapter 48

*Blair's POV*

It's been four days since that night at dinner. It still hasn't hit me that I'm leaving tomorrow for three months to travel the country with my boyfriend and best friends. I was super excited but also a little nervous to be away from my parents for that long, but I knew being with Keaton would help me through that. Luckily, I had just graduated from high school and I was doing college online so I didn't have to worry about missing anything while I was gone.

I was standing in my empty room looking at the suitcase full of all my clothes and all my bags full of everything else. Not only did I have to pack for the tour, but anything I wasn't taking with me was going back to Virginia with my parents.

My phone buzzed and I saw I had a text from Keaton.

"Hey baby, I can't believe we're leaving tomorrow! The boys and I are so excited for you to come with us, the fans will love you almost as much as I do!"

I smiled at the text as I got butterflies, he was so cute. Another reason I was nervous was meeting the fans. Most of them were supportive our Keaton and I's relationship, but as always there was those few that hated me and wanted me out of the picture. Keaton did his best to get them to stop but even then it didn't always work.

My mind raced as I closed my suitcase and laid down on my bed to relax. My room was so empty. I closed my eyes and thought about how much fun I was going to have on the road and how excited the boys were that I was coming.

*flashback*

Keaton and I walked into his house and immediately heard Wes and Drew in the living room. Even though Drew had his own apartment, he always seemed to be here.

Drew was doing better once he got out of the hospital. Wes was with him almost everyday and when he wasn't, he was texting with him. Drew was lucky to have such a great friend like Wes, Wes didn't want anything to happen to Drew ever again. Drew had been to hell and back these past few months and I was so happy he was finally doing better.

We walked into the living room and saw Wes and Drew playing a video game, which I assumed was Call of Duty, the boys had been obsessed with that game. Wes paused the game when they heard us and then they turned their attention to us.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Wes asked.

"We have some good news" Keaton said happily as he squeezed my hand.

"You guys aren't getting married are you?" Wes asked cautiously.

"No! Oh my god Wes" I said while laughing.

"You guys aren't having a baby right?" Drew asked.

"Oh my god, No!!" Keaton said as we both turned red.

"Thank god, okay well what is it?" Wes asked relieved.

"Blair is going on tour with us" Keaton said as he grinned.

"OH MY GOD YAY!" Wes yelled as he jumped up and picked me up and spun me around. I giggled as he put me down so Drew could have his turn.

"This is going to be amazing, I'm so happy you're coming with us B" Drew said as he pulled me in for a tight hug.

*end of flashback*

It was getting late so I changed into my pjs and washed up for bed before climbing under the covers and closed my eyes. My phone vibrated just as I was about to fall asleep and I saw I had another text from Keaton.

"Good night my beautiful princess, tomorrow night I'll be able to tell you that in person as we cuddle. I love you and can't wait to travel the country with you"

I smiled as I locked my phone and closed my eyes again before falling asleep.

My alarm went off as I rolled over groaning. It only took me a few seconds to remember what today was, today I was leaving for tour with my best friends.

I jumped out of bed and ran into my bathroom to get ready. The boys weren't picking me up for another four hours but I wanted to make sure I had everything and was ready to go. I blasted my music as I got ready and then ran downstairs.

"Well someone's excited" my mom said laughing from the kitchen table.

"You could say that" I said with a big smile. I grabbed some breakfast and then went to finish packing.

Soon enough, Keaton had texted me saying they were on their way, which meant they would be here in like a minute considering they lived so close. Next thing I knew, the doorbell rang.

I ran out of my room and down the stairs to open the door as my parents walked slowly to the front door laughing at me. I opened the door and was immediately wrapped in someone's arms, Keaton.

"Hi" he said cutely.

"Hey guys" I said laughing considering Keaton was squeezing the life out of me.

"Hey, don't hog B" Drew said as he pulled Keaton off of me and pulled me into his arms.

"Ready to go?" Wes asked and I quickly nodded as he laughed at how excited I was and grabbed my suitcase. I had managed to fit all the clothes I needed in one suitcase, but that didn't include shoes or anything else I needed. So along with my suitcase, I had a bag full of shoes, a bag full of bathroom stuff, etc. Needless to say, I was set for the next five months even though we would only be gone for three.

I hugged my parents and said goodbye before I walked outside to see the boys' tour bus. This was going to be my home for the next three months and I couldn't be more excited. We climbed onto the bus and drove off. I sat down next to Keaton on the couch and immediately cuddled up to him.

"We just hit the road, don't tell me we're going to have to deal with that all the time now" Wes complained and I laughed and snuggled more into Keaton as we made our way to Sequim, Washington, the boys' home state.

These next three months were going to be amazing.
