~15 Years Old~Part 4

Chapter 4-Moon and Stars

Time Skip to one month later~~

Armin's POV
It's only been a month since me and Eren met,and we've already became really close.I've never really had friends,or a best friend for that matter,so this is all new to me,but since I have someone like Eren it's kind of easy,because he is a social person,which means he likes to start conversations about almost anything,and usually they last up to almost hours of us just talking one on one with each other.Even though we're close,I just get the feeling that something is holding me back,I don't know wether it's just me being paranoid or if I'm just over excited about having a friend.

It's now a Friday which means that it's finally the last day of school and the end of a long hard week of work,and I'm in my last block (class) of the day,Maths,writing down notes on equations.I feel someone tap on my shoulder,I look to the side to see Eren,who is also my desk partner because we got to decide who we sat with.He instantly hands me his jotter,I look over at him puzzled,he just side smiles and points down to the page it's opened at,I look down to see a message written on the corner of the paper,it reads"Wanna hang out after school?" I look back over at him,then back down at the paper,and proceed to grab my pencil and write a message back that replies"Sure :)".

When the bell finally rings,everybody starts rushing about like maniacs to get out of the class as soon as possible,usually I'm just taking my time and doddling along,but since me and Eren are hanging out today I decide to try and go a little bit faster.Eren is fast so he just packs everything quickly and leaves the class,and leans up against the wall in the corridor opposite the door and waits for me.After I finish putting everything away I leave the classroom and walk over to Eren."Took you long enough Armin"Eren says to me playfully"S-Sorry,I'm just a bit slow"I stutter to him will rubbing my neck in embarrassment"It's alright,it doesn't bother me anyway"he smiles at me in an idiotic way,and I smile back pleasurably.As we leave through the main entrance we both start to make our way out of the grounds"So uh,where are we going?","Well...I was thinking you could decide.."he stops walking and turns to face me,I turn around and notice that he looks serious all of a sudden"...But I was thinking we could maybe go to this park nearby my house"I stare at him for a few moments,thinking to myself why he was looking at me so,seriously."Sure I don't mind".

As we've been here at the park we've done nothing but talk,I personally like to go into deep conversations about home life and other stuff,I don't mean to sound weird and all but I just find it fascinating,besides,Eren has had some pretty interesting experiences at his previous school,and who knew that he had a sister called Mikasa,I always thought he was an only child,like me."H-Hey Eren.."Eren rests his elbow on the bench and looks at me over his shoulder"Yeah?"I cross my legs and start twiddling with my thumbs anxiously,then proceed to look over at him"Why were you so determined to bring me here?"he raises and eyebrow and seems a little puzzled"D-Determined?"he leans forward and puts both his elbows on his knees,"Well....y-you seemed to look quite,serious when you said you wanted to bring me here,to the park,s-sorry if sound a little rude,I just want to ask t-that's all"Eren then looks down and his cheeks start to turn a little pink"U-Umm,well,today,there's a full moon out tonight,a-and-"he puts his hand over his mouth and turns a darker shade of red"I-It might sound childish and all,and a bit cheesy,but I like to look up at the stars when it's a full moon,since the moon's raise makes it easier to see and all"he stops and moves his hand away from his mouth while leaning back again onto the back of the bench,then gazed over at me"But I usually like to have someone accompany me,most often it's Mikasa,but for the past few weeks she's been busy doing a class project,s-so,I was wondering,i-if you wanted to see it with me"he then looks away instantly trying to hide his ever so flustered cheeks."I'd love to,well,I've got no homework anyway so I guess it won't hurt to stay here with you for a while longer"I give him a small smile,and he turns back around and does the same, to thank me

Time skip to a few hours later~~

Still Armin's POV

"Eren look the sun's setting"I point up at the orange patterned sky,with the big yellow ball of fire that was slowly disappearing to let the silver planet take over the atmosphere.Eren lies back onto the damp grass,and places his hands ontop of his chest,"It looks better if you lie down",he turns on his side and looks up at me"You comin'?"I nod and walk over to Eren,then lie down a few centimetres away from him.Ten minutes pass,and the stars are almost fully out,and the moon's light begins to shine beautifully across the park.I look up at the navy sky,to see that it was now completely dark."Eren"I say while shaking him"Look up,the stars look amazing"he looks up slowly,and his eyes widen as he stares at the twinkling sky."I....I've never seen the moon this bright before,and their seems to be more variety in the stars"I smile"I guess your right,they are actually very stunning to look at"Eren stops,then his mouth forms into a gentle smile,and he looks over at me,the moons light shining,in his luminous green eyes"Now you know how peaceful it is,Armin"I gasped,in a suttle way,and I can feel warm on my upper cheeks,and at this moment,I now realise,the thing that was holding me back this whole time...

Is the fact I have feelings for Eren...
