The Timekeeper

When a newly orphaned girl goes to live with her abusive uncle in the "quiet" countryside she gets more than she bargained for when she finds a boy from the future, half dead, and muttering crazy things, lying in her garden. Defying her uncle, she befriends him and finds out that the boy has come with a tall order, and that the future of the world may hang in the balance.
