It had been about a week since a ford pickup picked up the letter. It kinda freaked me out that the driver was a guy but, once again she did say she would have someone else pick it up not that she would.
I peeked out the living room window and saw the same ford driving off. I raced out the door and opened the mailbox. Sure enough, a white envelope addressed to Sodapop Curtis. My name was the only thing on the front and when I turned it around I saw the red color of lipstick that had stained the envelop with a kiss. I smiled slightly and ripped it open.
