Clotho's POV

To say my demonic side was at the surface would be an understatement. Though changing forms helps release a tiny bit of aura and yoki (the substance that substitutes for blood in demon's bodies, it also gives them more power depending on the concentration of the yoki), being a demon with my ranking, it barely helps. The entire way to the job my eyes were on the ground, averting eye contact as so humans or others would not see my dramatic eye color change. But with each step I took, I could feel myself slowly going through the steps of losing control.

Once I had finally reached the job site, my yoki was out of control. My body had begun to morph as my muscles expanded and my eyes shifted. Falling to the ground just outside the setting of where this battle would take place, I gripped the grass and weeds as I fought against my demonic side. Grinding my teeth, I shut my eyes and began to focus on the yoki that flooded my veins and the aura the I produced.

After only a minute, I was in complete control. Standing up, I reverted back to my natural human form with the brown and white hair and the multicolor eyes. Well, I thought to myself, let's raise some hell, shall we?

Stepping into the area, I immediately felt the aura of a strong supernatural. Just the wolf I'm looking for. I smirked. "Come out, Alpha!" I ordered, letting my eyes shift black and letting authority leak into my voice. Step my step, my target entered my range.

His name was Alpha Briggs. He had been the original starter of the current war between supernaturals and demons, and had both directly and inadvertently caused the death of many of my kind. Just seeing him made it hard not to lose control.

"Do you know why I have been assigned to remove your vial existence?" I asked, holding my chin high as I slowly began releasing the aura and yoki I had just reigned in. He smirked. "Because I caused the death of your petty brethren? You bitch, you filthily creatures aren't even partially human, and yet you roam the earth and abuse it more then pure humans. Go back into the abyss you crawled out of."

The yoki erupted within my body and I knew my eyes had switched into the rare silver very few saw. "What the hell..." he muttered. "You should be honored!" I spoke condescendingly as the yoki within me began to form a physical projectile that would soon form a claymore. "Very few creatures see my eyes like this. You see, they only occur when I'm about to actually use my yoki, not just my aura. Maybe, if you're lucky, you'll even get to see me use both and watch my eyes turn gold." I smirked as I walked forward. I had never had to use both my yoki and my aura together for a fight; I was just too powerful.

"Die you bitch!" The alpha yelled as he shifted into his deep chocolate wolf. "Such a petty, and I was hoping to not have to use this." I muttered under my breath as I ripped the now formed claymore from underneath my back. The wound instantly healed as I wielded the sword made purely of my yoki and aura.

The Alpha charged directly at me, wasting no time. "Now now now," I spoke as I sidestepped his attack. "That's such an ugly method of fighting. Shall I show an elegant battle then?" I asked. Letting my yoki concentrate in my legs, I sprung at him, but slightly sidestepped him last minute while slicing him in half just below his belly button with my claymore.

"It's like you... you... went right through me..." He sputtered through his blood as he shifted back into his human form. I swooshed my blade harshly to the side, slinging off the blood. "Quite elegant even for a demon, yes?" I said as I smirked. Before he could answer, I slung my claymore to just beside his neck. "Any last words?" I asked, ready for this to be over with. He smirked. "I hope this hurts."

"What the hell..." Was all I could get out before he thrust his extended claws into my gut, slicing open down to my mid right thigh. I coughed and sputtered blood as the wound burned and stung. "Not enough to save you, bastard!" I yelled before lopping the persistent cretonnes head off.

Falling to the ground, I could feel myself losing control of my aura as well as my yoki. "Agggghhhhh!" I screamed out in pain as I writhed on the ground. I was healing for sure, but the process was exceedingly painful, no matter how powerful you may be. After about ten minutes of excruciating pain, I was close to done healing. My aura and yoki were still going berserk, but I needed to move forward. Standing up slowly, I felt the wound reopen slightly as I hissed in pain. I began walking back the way I came ever so slightly.

Only about five steps later, I felt my knees buckle as the pain reverberated through my body. Falling to the ground, I screamed at the pain of the impact. My breathing was rugged and shallow, and I stared at the now stormy sky as I trying to heal once again. I've gotten reckless. I thought. But why? It's almost as if I want to die, even from a petty Alpha. Pain shot through me once again, and I felt myself slipping out of control. The pain was becoming to much as black spots clouded my vision. Do I want to die? I thought, just as I saw a shadow of a figure loom over me before I blacked out.
