Like any other normal day Troy awoke from his dreams at exactly 6:45 in the morning. The sun's glorious rays beamed down on his blue striped bed sheets. By 7:30 A.M., he dressed and was ready to head off to school.
As usual, Troy met up with his best friend Kevin, and his girlfriend Alicia. However, today wasn't just a regular day. It was Troy's birthday. Everything was better. His dreams were sweeter and the people were nicer. But what Troy didn't know was that his life was about to change.
"Happy birthday babe!" Alicia enthusiastically greeted Troy with a blissful kiss.
"Happy b-day bro!" Kevin exclaimed ruffling Troy's hair.
"Thanks." Troy stated as he began to walk.
"What's with the face? Something happen?" Alicia questioned with a concerned face.
"Only what didn't happen." Troy sighed. "I had the same dream this morning. Getting my name called from the crowd just to be acknowleged for being the only one not in the Truth Realm. And now it's even worse because now I'm 16!" Troy huffed.
"Well I have two surprises for you. One concerning our special Friday night tonight, and the other that will make that dream the best you ever had." Alicia smirked and innocently ran ahead, her pink skirt flaunting and prancing about on the beautiful spring day.
