~I’m lost and alone
No one is around
And life is gone
No where to be found
~It’s disappeared
Nowhere in sight
Nothing is here
Not even a light
I cannot see
Not one little bit
I’m so afraid
So here I sit
~I see a light
I am not alone
Someone else here
Then I hear a groan
~That one groan
That made me wonder
Walking towards it
And I hear thunder
~I stop dead now
It stops too
Another groan
And I walk through
~Through the storm
Through all my fears
Through the mouth
That brings me tears
~I see the light
Grow more and more
I walk yet closer
And get strangely warm
~I see a figure
Now collapsing
I stop dead
Time’s elapsing
~She’s still down
I walk yet faster
I see her face
And hear laughter
~I see myself
Lying there
I have no choice
But to stop and stare
~I’m too stunned
I cannot think
As I lay there
And do not blink
~I’m so confused
What do I do
The mouth before
I’ll go back through
~Back to reality
Back home again
Never to go
Where I’ve just been
~I cannot go
There is a wall
It is blocking
My eerie hall
~I am trapped
No where to go
I’m suffocating
Here I know
~I’m going crazy
This isn’t right
Why did I
Chase that light
~I stare at her
Who’s really me
I look again
And try to flee
~But I’m trapped
Walls all over
Only thing here
Is this boulder
~So I rest
For eternity
Only one question
Why was it me
