As Harry leaves the ship, I sneak out the window and follow him. I stay in the shadows, unseen by most. Harry is getting all the attention, people turning the other way when he looked at them. As Harry enters a restaurant, he takes a line of fish from a fisher, and brings it inside.

With Harry out of sight, I begin my adventure. I run around the Isle, finally being able to breathe. I'm not worried about going back home. I'll just be sent to some disciplinary academy where everything's more strict and less fun. This is new territory. A new place for me to explore, new people to meet.

Back in school, I was known for doing parkour. Black Sparrow and Blue Jay were nicknames given to me and my other friend, Jay. The two of us run so swiftly, it feels as if we are flying. We can run for hours, and feel absolutely nothing but pure ecstasy.

An hour or so passes before I stop running. I sit on the roof top of a building, thinking about some of my best memories. Most of them involve Nick and Jay, my two partners in crime. Most of it involves Nick yelling at Jay and me to stop running, but we never listened. Nick never was one for parkour. That's the reason we got in trouble.

About two months ago, Nick, Jay, and I were walking down an alley way during the night. We ran into the local drug dealer, who hates the Three of us. Nick, Jay and I tried to run, but Nick couldn't keep up, so we stayed behind for him, Jay in front of him, me behind. I got shot in the abdomen before some bystanders heard the gunshots.

After that, it was decided I would move to London, but the plane crashed into the ocean, leaving me on this island with Hook Boy.

Speaking of Hook Boy, I see Harry drag out a boy from the restaurant. The boy tried to get back inside, but Harry shots him a look, and the boy sits back down. Once Harry is out of sight, I flip off the roof, landing silently in front of the boy.

"Hey, I'm Makayla, but call me Sparrow. What's your name?" I ask the blonde.

The boy looks around, wondering how I got in front of him so quickly, before questioning if he knew me. Before I could answer, I heard Harry walking towards the door, and I bolted off. I run around the Isle for some hours, before I finally decide to call it a night.

I arrive to the ship some minutes before Harry arrives. Harry throws his jacket on a hook and storms over too me, his jaw clenched making him look all the better. He pins me to a wall, his face just inches from mine. Being in this position multiple times, I'm used to being this close to someone.

"Why did Gil mention a girl named Sparrow to Uma and me?" Harry asks, surprising calm.

I push the brunette away from me, and lean more into the wall. "Might have been another Sparrow. Or maybe he's heard of me. I was quite popular in Brooklyn," I say, inspecting my nonexistent nail beds in order to have a cool look. It's not fair he gets too look like a pirate while I look like the ocean swallowed me up and spit me out, which it practically did.

"He mentioned you. Why did you leave the ship? I gave you specific instruction to stay here," he says, running his hook through my tangled, brown hair.

I push my finger on his hook, pushing it away from me. "Listen HookBoy, I can handle myself. I've been in enough fights. I'm quick and silent, no one can see me."

"That's not the point. The point is, once Uma finds out in harbouring an Auridian, she'll kill ya!" Harry yells.

"She doesn't have to find out. Besides, killing me? Won't work. Been there, done that. I'll be find. And I'm not an Auridian. Auradon sounds like a happily ever after ending, and I don't do that."

Harry takes a deep breathe before walking back to me, "Uma owns The Isle. She'll find out, and you'll be dead and I'll be on bad terms with her. Now, if you want to survive, you have stay here!"

His anger is amusing me. I've probably dealt with worse than this Uma girl. I've been in too many fights to count, and I always win due to speed, as long as it's a clean, skin on skin, fight.

"Harry, chill. How about I meet this Uma chick? No more danger."

"Absolutely not. You'll end up with a sword through your stomach," Harry says.

"At least it won't be a bullet this time," I smoothly say, before realising what I said. "Forget I said that. I haven't slept in four days. My minds a bit," I say before whistling and circling my finger around my ear.

Harry doesn't mention me being shot, and switches the topic. "How about, I take you to the beach now and you swim past the barrier. If you can, I'll let you meet Uma."

"Fine. Let's go, right now."

Harry leads me to the edge of the dock. The sun is rising, and it's only the two of us outside. The water is calm, begging me to jump in and swim to the large island ahead of us. A grey cloud is above this island, but the other island seems to be clear.

"Come on now. Jump, show me you can cross the barrier with no problem," Harry urges.

"Fine," I say before diving into the water, not caring about my clothes getting drenched again. As soon as my body enters the water, a wave of coolness rushes over me. I didn't realise how hot that island is until the water hit me.

I swim several yards before I run into something. I try to swim around, but it doesn't seem to work. I look over to Harry, who seems to be giving me a knowing smirk.

Once I arrive back to the dock, Harry helps pull me up and leads me to his ship. Once on the ship, I question him about it. Of course, he  mentions the barrier. I will figure out the truth behind the barrier soon enough.

"Seeing how ya're wrong, I'll keep ya in me room. Barrier should be down soon," Hook Boy tells me. "Get some sleep now. I'll wake ya tonight."

Without arguing, I grab the pillow Harry threw at me, and lay down on the floor. Within seconds, I fall into a deep sleep.
